Something I wanted to do since they made the SDCC StarScream Sky Striker last year. Props to Alyosha Russoff for the custom GUNPOD and Nicholas Chen for the front thruster idea. Props to cobrastickers.com for the decals. Jet is done (used pieces from the MATCHBOX VERITECH JET from the 80's - arm pieces for between the thrusters, small leg wing stabilizers, and head and yes i know its a VF-1J head but blame the mistake on MATCHBOX. At least the eye visor is green and its twin antenna on both sides. Once I am comfortable with scuply I will fix). Still working on ROY.

This is great. The only sad part is a Vintage Matchbox version died to make this. (I'm sure it was a beater, though)
I have the Harmony Gold version, and two Exo Squad ones, I bougth new and made into Max and Myria's planes. I need to fix them. I still wanted another one to make the orange & tan VF-1E Rick gets into.

LOL, Not to worry, it was indeed a beat up one but, it went to a good cause. I actually have two MATCHBOX ones (one off white and one a blueish white, both stamped MATCHBOX), one with a fastpack for RICK's version and one w/out the fastpack for Roy.

Looks great, I love the added matchbox parts. I have been looking for the big thrusters to do a jetfire.
