Zandar & Zarana by HobbyHobbs

I wanted to get a look close to their ARAH version, but with an updated look.

Here are: Zandar & Zarana.

Zandar Parts:

Head - Dreadnok 7pack Zandar
Upper Body/Upper Arms: 25th HoH Zartan
Lower Arms/Hands: 7pack Spirit? I think?
Legs: No Clue, but they got to be a 25th Dreadnok's - maybe Ripper?
Body Armor: Resolute Zartan

Zarana Parts:

Head/Hair - RoC Baroness
Body/Arms - Dreadnok 7pack Zanya
Legs - Resolute Scarlett
Belt - Unknown, but the rear cover piece came from Zandar - trimmed and glued to the belt.

I had to do some serious hip surgery to get those legs to fit into the socket there on the t-bar. Lots of grinding/trimming with a dremel to get them to fit.

As I painted Zandar's face, I thought he was starting to look like Rust Epique.
Probably would more had I darkened the eyes.

If they didnt "match" it would feel right. I had some parts to go with a darkened version of Zandar in Black and Gray, but I nixed it. Thats why he has a black bandana.

Wow, they look like they just stepped out of the obligatory discotheque scene from some synth-scored sci-fi film or TV series circa 1980. Battle Beyond The Stars? Galaxina? They would not even look out of place in a Jem episode. Never in a million years would I have imagined these two in this way. Love them.

Zandar looks like Vince Neil in beer-bloat mode guest-starring on Jem as the episode's bad guy. I can' stop looking at these...
