Shock HISS vs. Sky Scream

For those of you who have both a Shock HISS and a Sky Scream (or whatever you want to call them), I'm curious to know how they compare with each other. Which do you like better? Why? That sort of thing. I have a HISS coming, and I'm wondering if I should make the effort/spend the cash to get the Sky Scream as well. Plus I'm just interested to hear your thoughts/opinions now that both are in the world.

I would be interested too... same situation... HISS to me is a lot better especially because of Destro and BAT.

I have both and it is hard to make a comparison. They are both obviously substantially different vehicles. They aren't even the same type of vehicle. I personally have a lot of love for the Skystriker so I jumped at the chance to get one of these Skyscreams. I have to admit I was a little disappointed with it when I did get it. I think it is because Starscream is really white, not gray. They didn't change the body color for the Skyscream so I don't think it represents the chraracter as well. The pilot Cobra Commander that comes with it is really cool. Just a great color and a great look. The Shockwave set has it in sheer quantity of cool extras. Unique figures, great accessories, the specially created cannon, and the sweet metallic paint. As much as I love the Skystriker, I have to give the edge to the Shockwave HISS.

Thank you! Very insightful and exactly the kind of analysis I was looking for. I didn't realize the Sky Scream's body was the same color as the retail Sky Striker. I'll have to look more closely at some pictures it. I'm interested to hear other's views as well--the more the merrier.

I like the Skyscream better. It's a cooler vehicle by far.

That said the S.H.I.S.S. is *much* better than I'd expected. The purple metallic finish is beautiful, the vehicle is overall a great deal better than the promo pics suggested.

When it comes to pack-in figures, the S.H.I.S.S. also wins. The Cobra Commander included with Skyscream is good, if nothing special. The Destro and Construction B.A.T. with the S.H.I.S.S. are very very cool.

But Skyscream wins for me because Starscream is my favorite Transformer character and the Skystriker is probably the best GI Joe vehicle ever made, imo.

Starscream looks better as a custom with the stickers from cobrastickers.

I went with Shock Hiss only cuz I way preffer the Hisstank (any version) over a jet

Skyscream looks more like his toy/cartoon alt mode. And the pilot CC with Megatron gun beats purple Destro.

I have to go with Skyscream just because the new HISS tanks are kind of dorky/goofy looking in general.

i have both and must say, shockwave went above and beyond. the accessories, the 2 figures, the redco hiss with shockwave muzzle... it's far better than a redeco skystriker with single figure and megatron pistol. it displays very well, much easier to display to boot.

Neither because I do not have them.
If Hasbro used the POC HISS tank instead of this Retaliation excuse of a HISS, I would've sacrificed babies for this years SDCC exclusive. I am just happy I got my Jinx(es).

If Hasbro wants to impress me, make an actually Transforming Joe vehicle.
