HAHAHAH! GET IT?

I was lucky enough to trade Nova for one of his clear red BAT casts when he was out here for the NJCC. I wanted it for the same idea he had-V1 Inferno BAT.

I remembered there was a thread on Joecustoms where a couple guys went back and forth about how to paint it to best resemble the Inferno BAT, but I avoided it until I was done painting today...And it looks like my version was completely the opposite of what was discussed. I am suspending disbelief on the whole shirt and pants thing.

I tried to do as direct a repaint as I could, without resorting to painting the arms black, but I did swap up the colors on the belt and boots. I used an extra damaged NJCC cast flame (with some light yellow paint added) and drilled out the flamethrower for fun.

This was a kit I got from Alyosha at the con. It is Wild Weasel, based on a custom here. The color is a little light, but it is next to a really dark vintage WW.

Kev- Just a thought that occurred to me: How about painting some of the details (compression leggings, pouches, shoulder padding, some of the helmet detail) in the darker red to more closely tie them together? If not, it still looks good for a ham-handed hack of a customizer.

OR, you could cast me another one in a slightly darker red! Get on that.

I was going for simple with this guy, black, red and silver. I went back and forth about those legging, I just didn't want to put the time into it when i felt the basic paint scheme was enough to evoke the character.

I like! Especially the BAT. I love clear figures.

Dude, Pat had a good idea, adding a blue scarf to it to bring the WW out in him. My first thought was the DTC major Bludd scarf but as cool as that would look, it might be a little bit big. Any ideas? It might help you sell the couple you have left. Hell, i might want one of the dark red ones.
