Bane vs. Batman

This was a commission where I was asked to make Bane a mix of movie/comic. He has been made with a Retaliation RB with apoxie sculpt, new articulated boots from a 25th FF, and I am really happy with the results! I just couldn't make Bane and got on a kick so I whipped up a movie style Batman with parts from a 4 inch Batman figure, an Iron Man body and arms, Retaliation SS lower legs, and Retaliation Snake Eyes feet. The bat emblem is sculpted on the chest with apoxie sculpt. I am already thinking of going back to make a more dramatic cape (I have a few ideas) but wanted to get a few pics of these two fighting before I ship the Bane to my client.

A pretty damned spot on recreation of the mask he wears in The Dark Knight Returns, it appears.

If only The Dark Knight Returns toyline looked like this!

Great Job. Bane is awesome and I never would have thought of using that IM body as Batman. Consider it copied.
