So I have been out of the game for a little while working on my General Lee. I finally got it painted last weekend and need to wet sand it. In the mean time, I switched back to putting together a few customs. In no particular order... here they are.
Commando Girl -- I am not sure if I want to make a completely custom/new Joe, or just make it Scarlett in a sweater. Any suggestions Tankers? -- Code Name: Cypher COMPLETED!!!
Blaine -- Jesse Ventura from Predator! I have had a mini gun from Marauder John waiting for this one for a long time.
Lt A.K. Waters (Bruce Willis) -- Navy Seal from Tears of the Sun.
Toll Booth -- I have to do some major sculpting of the lower arms on this one. I did find the perfect 1/18 scale chain at a craft store. Will need to make a construction helmet for him too, and get a sledge hammer.
John Rambo -- I plan on making a quiver with arrows and finding a good bow for accessories.
Mercer -- 1985 movie version. The hair looks a little tall, but its the angle of the pic I think. Looks accurate in person. I am not sure if I want to leave the t-shirt green or make it cartoon accurate.
MGS3: Snake Eater... had this one on hold for a looooooooong time. Gogin to try Cloudstrife's Tiger Camo on this I think. COMPLETED!!!
Baroness -- Ok ok... so she is not nude, but I want to make her in tight black leather corset with thigh high boots. I have a whip somewhere for her too... I can envision it in my head, and this is not just another nude figure... However, I do not know what Baroness head to use, or if I should just use a 25th Scarlett as a base and sculpt ears and hair up in a tight ponytail.
Lastly, my first vehicle custom. I wanted to make Zartan's swamp skier... so I used a SW Clone Wars speeder bike as the base and then began cutting and gluing styrene for everything else. I will go with classic colors on this with more of a beat up swap used look.
Stay tuned! I have more in the works!

All are looking good but I'm most excited to see the Swamp Skier finished!
General Lee is looking nice too. Did you go with a Candy Orange or the original color?

I went with an AMC color... Big Bad Orange, it was used on the 2005 Movie car.

Will do. I actually added more hair to the back of the head, took me a little while to find the right looking parts.

Those all look like good starts. I dig the Swamp Skier idea. I think the Comamndo Girl should eb Scarlet ina sweater. It makes sense.

Yowza! I was going to say "great job on the figs" (it is a great job by the way), then I saw that General Lee WIP. SAH-WEEEEEEET!!! Are you going to keep the windows down all the time to get in the car? :)

Makes sense leaving her as Scarlett. There is just not enough female Joes. Made a bit more progress on the Chameleon. Finished up the front skis and added some details to the rear leaf springs. Just need to figure out how to attach the front skis to the fork.
Awesome to see what your work looks like before you get the paints out.

I got that from Slayer Design Studios over a year ago. I saw that the site is down, so I don't know where you can find it now.

Nope, windows will not be down all the time hahaha. It's been a loooooooooong WIP though. I have all the parts and can slap it all together, but I am taking my time to do it right. When I am done, it will run on a 383 with aftermarket cam and ported heads. I should get about 475 hp out of it... enough power for a fun ride.

SDS too... :( Got another from a fellow tanker a while back. That one will be made into either a Gen Colton fig or maybe another SEAL.
Hey marine nice work as usual. Paint by your hand will really make these figures! However as far as Blane from "Predator". Jessie Ventura was a much broader or thicker character than the others. I would go down the road of using either BAZOOKA or BENCHPRESS as the upper body. Yo can look into Retaliation roadblock for other parts swaps as well.

Thanks will do. Hope to have some time this weekend to dig into these more. I spent all day sunday wet sanding the car from 600, 800, 1000, 1500 grit! I still have to do 2000 and maybe 3000... Sanded so much that my fingers almost lost the prints!!!

Almost done... this is without the handlebars. No need to prime them.
My local hobby store just upgraded their Citidel paint line and now carries all the new paint. Should be easy matching the colors to teh original one.
Almost done with Mercer... was an easy one. Not sure on what color to paint his t-shirt... if at all. Will have pics of him up soon.

Those amphibious SEALs are going to look incredible.
I'm really eger to see Lt A.K. Waters (Bruce Willis) -- Navy Seal from Tears of the Sun. Is that commisioned? That should turn out to be one bad ass custom. Great job on the the figs you posted so far. Keep em coming!

Thanks everyone. Waters is not a commission, I had been wanting to do that one for a looooooooooong time. I may do the entire team, but the main one I wanted was Willis' character.

Already done that lol... it is NOT easy. I did a how to on it, but it is much faster to use the sponge or dry brush technique.
More WIP... Everyone should be able to guess who this is...

More on MG3:SE
Almost done. I managed to sculpt a decent bandanna out if Aves Fixit, but haven't taken pics of it yet. I also modified an M-4 into the Boss' weapon the Patriot and added a comm link ear piece. I used some metal tubing for the barrel on the Patriot, hard to tell in the pic, but its there. I changed out the standard knife sheath and sculpted the one that Snake usually has on his gear along with some Push to Talk (PTT) comm gear. Here is the current stage and gear pics.

The ribbed sweater female is a custom body from SDS. I made matching arms out of Renegades Scarlett arms using some aves apoxie fixit and an x-acto knife. Took a little time, but wasn't too hard to do.

I will say that this one is about done... I want to add some more highlight shading to his t-shirt. I also need to find/make a suitable bow. That is the only bow I have, but I can't give this one to him...belongs to the dread-head cobra.

Thanks bro... almost done with Rambo. I went back an wrapped the machete with medical tape then painted it black. This won't rub off as easy like with paint on aves apoxie when placing it in his hand.
Ok.... so I have been busy the last week... I finished up a female version of MGS Snake... will post in "Finished" section along with a completed Crimson HISS that I changed up and a few others. Here is where I am at with the Chameleon..... almost done.

I am finally digging this relic out of my custom box to finish. I have the base coat on him, but I am a little torn bewteen what camo pattern to put on him. Tiger stripe, or the woodlan tri-color camo like in the movie? I have seen a 1/6th version in tigerstripe, made by Dragon Toys I think, that was not labeled a TOS Lt Waters figure, but the head was dead on accurate!
Sorry for the bright ass pic, but you get the idea.

So it's not the catchiest name, but all I can come up with for the moment. I stole it from the Statue on Parris Island... until I can think of something more fitting. Anyhow, I am basically using Renegades Scarlett upper torso and head, POC Shipwreck arms, Torpedo upper legs, and Cobra Trooper lower legs. I had to find something do with this left over Renegades Scarlett upper torso and fugly head since I used the lower half for another female figure. I modified her hair with a female Marine Corps regulation "bun" hairstyle and sculpted a Safariland-like style drop leg holster for her 1911one one leg, the other has a knife sheath from the POC Beach Head. The pistol is a tight fit, but it works. I have finished painting it, but need to take some pics and figure out what kind of vest/harness, if any, to give her.

I actually like the ankle joints, but not as much as I like the mold of the entire legs! They are perfect for numerous female customs applications.
