Just received my Skydive thanks to TRU's sale last week. I was blown away by how much of a gem this figure is. Based around an obscure character I'd say everything about this figure is fantastic. I particularly like how the rocket pack looks. 10/10!

Yeah waves 3 + had some great figures in them and Skydive/Ripcord was an example of some brilliant creative work on hasbro's part. Future tech + military feel. I like how a lot of the figure was used for Captain Ace since they would be doing similar and related functions on the Joe team.

I picked him up on something of a whim and I was surprised at how much I liked him. As far as weapons, it would've been nice if he had at least an smg.

If you really like this figure, grab one of the Ripcords off e-bay for$10-12. I don't know anyone that has regretted getting him.

What I would love to see is an updated take on V2 General Hawk based on Skydive

I desperately want ME versions of all the Sky Patrol guys. That was one of my favorite subgroups.

I did really like the PoC one though. It was a very cool figure. Though I liked the cancelled Ripcord better.

He's one of the all-time most underrated G.I. Joe action figures... and the pre-production version is even better. I was always quietly stunned at the way so many collectors ignored or criticized this toy.

Both versions are very photogenic, too.
