As soon as I saw the previews for the Ninja Combat Cruiser, I knew I wanted a new VAMP. My first vehicle custom using mostly spray paint, and I am happy with the turn out and that I could find a decent tan color. I used some of the Cruiser's decals and mixed in a few from other leftovers I had around. I also updated Clutch to go with the new ride. Used a POC Duke body with repainted armor and the Retaliation Clutch head with the hair painted to his normal color.

Very nice, I wish Hasbro would make one like this and sell it to the masses... If I can sneak it by my wife, I'd get one... or two...

For this project, I mostly used Krylon spray paint. The tan is a double coverage nutmeg in satin finish. The black is just the "short cuts" black and also the silver dash. I used an ordinary acrylic on the seats. The decals were mostly from the combat cruiser, but I didn't want to use anything blue or ninja. The joe name and insignia came from an extra RHINO set that I had. You will have to completely disassemble the jeep by removing the 8 screws in the bottom and then removing the smaller parts after that. After painting everything I topped it off with a Testor's dull coat to seal it. The only issue I ran into was the missile rack tearing up the paint on the cross bar. It's hardly visible so I left it alone, but there are tips on the 'Tank for dealing with this if you want to.

beautiful man! I love working on vehicles with spray paint too, it makes everything so much easier. Love the job you did on this man, super clean, great color choice and great job on the Clutch figure too. I hope I can get my hands on one of these at some point myself.

Very nice. I like Hasbro's Retaliation Clutch design but, was disappointed that the figure will have limited articulation- it is nice to see 'some justice done' to the figure.

Very nice. I was wondering, how does it look with the roof removed? Is the inside just the same as the POC/30th VAMP with the spinning thing for someone to stand on?

Dude how did you get your hands on this vehicle so early and had the balls to customize it. I think it looks better now but how did you acquire it?

Oh hells yea! That's a badass Vamp and Clutch! If Hasbro offered stuff like this, they might actually revitalize the brand.
Instead, we garbage.

I lucked out when Target got them in at the end of summer. I had this planned once a saw the pics from the con, so I picked up 2 and did this one custom.
The painting was pretty quick and easy. This was the first vehicle I've done mostly with spray paint. I did a 25th VAMP in these colors a few years ago, but I mixed the color myself and hand painted and it took forever. I topped this one of with some of its stickers and some others I had leftover.
Thanks for all the comments!

Here's my 25th version from a while back.
I'm glad you got your hands on such a piece so early in the game. It's nice to know that one of our Tankers got it and did such a nice job. It could have gone to some spoiled kid and well you know the rest! I have to agree with the other Tankers this is the way it should've been. Great work!

Nice Job on that custom. Is this vehicle going to be released with the movie or has this product already been run and its no longer being produced?

I am going to assume that this will be back on the shelves with the movie products. I don't see where there is really any new vehicles, with the exception of the Night Landing, until August. I've already seen other vehicles on the shelves recently, so this should be out there too. I think I was really lucky last August to come across one before things were pulled/run out.
