Billy - C'mon Hasbro get on with it.

I am not going to at all claim that I am not biased, but Hasbro just needs to let the club make a Billy. I can't possibly believe they wouldn't want to if Hasbro would let them. He's simple - new head sculpt on whatever commando, ninja, or even cobra trooper body they want to use. I used to think Hasbro did not want to age CC with a kid, but at this point with so many continuities what could it possibly hurt?

He may not be everyone's favorite character, but it can't be argued that he is the most important RAH character without a figure.

Reading his introduction into the IDW verse got me all fired up again...:)

I would defintely liek a billy figure....i just dont want the IDW one. He seems like kind of a weenie and the big appeal of billy was he was cc's son. In the IDW verse he's just (so far) another corporate guy working for cobra or something. IF they do a bilyl figure hope its more his Marvel run look. And the Mike Powers idea is a nice one...could be a cool subline of joe that could maybe lead to some adventure team stuff. I'd love to have that old mobile command center from the 1/6th scale in 3 3/4th scale.

Cobra Youth uniform yes. ninja commando not so much, too easy to kitbash.
and my guess is they would never tool a kid sized fig. it would be a reused Short Round or clone wars Boba Fett . still cool with me.

Not to be rude, but that is not actually correct. He is Cobra Commanders son, and does not have anything to do with Cobra. In fact no one who is currently in Cobra knows he exists. The Joes found out about him from Tomax and Major Bludd who are both in custody of a sort, and neither are in Cobra due to an attempt to overthrow the current Cobra Commander (Billy's dad is dead, but we all know how much dead means to Cobra Commander).

All we know of Billy is that he was giving a presentation to a corporate board. He could indeed be just a normal guy, but he is the Commanders son and doesn't work for Cobra (unless the writer has mislead us-which of course is possible).

Whom I kidding, I've wanted a Billy figure since way back in the 80s. I wouldn't mind a DDP Billy where he's older and drunk. Talk about daddy issues.

Anyway, who knows maybe Hasbro will make a Billy figure. Only problem is when they do, they'll give us that "Trying to figure out where to release him." And my favorite, "They were produced and shipped. Don't know where they are." Ahhh, screw it I'll make my own.

Hasbro and the club know about the fan demand for this character and it was further emphasized at Joe Con when this Billy Card Art was passed out at the JoeDeClassifed Table.

Provided the right people can be lightly persuaded and the right tooling can be found that makes sense, I see Billy as a definite possibility.

I agree Billy really is past due for a figure. Here is a problem: What style of Billy to produce? I would prefer the late teen/early twenties Billy as Storm Shadow's apprentice. HOH Storm Shadow's body with a new head and voila, perfect Billy.
