This looks outstanding.
I can't wait to pick this up!

How difficult would it be to get modern-era styled Danger Girl figures made? I know Hasbro did an exclusive SGT Slaughter so did they have to get some sort of temporary permision from JAKKS or something? I know the Matt Trakker figure was an easier process as Hasbro has Kenner.
Maybe McFarlane toys would be willing to let Hasbro do some Danger Girl figures?

I'm curious about this mini series, got a question though, one of the things I dig about Hama is the great storytelling without resorting to profanity or sexual content. Is this a comic I can read with a clear conscience?

If the Danger Girl books are an indicator of the content of this book, I'd put it at a PG-13. Probably a healthy bit of sexual innuendo without anything gratuitous.
I doubt there will be any profanity in it. It's still represents the Joe brand.

Thanks for the info. The newer joe comics (what few I've looked at) use profanity and some more gruesome blood and such.

Actually there is no innuendo in this issue. You might be able to give this book to a 10 year old without worrying about anything.

I'm pretty excited for it. I love GI Joe, and I've often wanted to see what Danger Girl was all about, and this looks like the perfect opportunity to do both. I can't wait to get my filthy little paws on it.

I'm a big Danger Girl fan from back in the day... this feels like a perfect marriage of the two properties.
I too would love to see figures of Abbey & Sydney... but I think that's on us to do, non-Joe figures added to the Joe toy roster probably pretty low on their list of "to-do's"

This is the first issue and does not come out until tomorrow (July 18th). I'd imagine it will be on whatever digital device that Danger Girl or Joe comics are usually on.

I can't believe how much that art looks just like J. Scott Campbell!

I know there have been periodic DG minis over the years. I wonder if this creative team is the usual DG team? I wish the brand (Joe) was bigger. I'd love to see Hasbro make figures for this mini.

That air battle does look good. I was planning on picking this mini series up either way, but I am happy that it looks good so far. I'd still like to see the women of Joe teaming up with the Danger Gals to do an all woman adventure. I'm sure they could cook up something about men being brainwashed that would negate all of the male characters and leave them out. That would be awesome.

Oh my! I think they killed Wild Weasal!
Book likes it'll be a real fun read. I always thought Danger Girl characters would make amazing 3 3/4 Joe figs...maybe this gets us mildly closer to a special edition Abbey Chase? I mean, we got Matt Trakker after all.

I'm guessing that's what anyone who claims to be excited about this crossover is planning to do.

Woo woo woo, you know it!
But seriously, I haven't read a Danger Girl story previously. Clearly there are enough DG fans out there to keep the brand alive. I'm excited for this crossover because it gives me the perfect opportunity to test the brand.

Well DG was popular with nerd girls in the late 90's. This whole thing makes about as much sense as a GI Joe / Jem team up.

I didn't know any nerd girls in the late 90's. I was too busy banging drunk ones, so I guess I missed out. Do you have any favorite DG stories you would recommend if I like the Joe crossover?

Okay, so are you a fan of DG? Can you recommend a story if I like the crossover? The interiors of the first issue of the crossover I saw over at generalsjoes looked wicked awesome.

I put the whole series on my pull list today. Really looking forward to it. I've never read Danger Girl, but the concept looks like it would lend itself to just a fun book.
Kinda cool to see Hawk in his v2 duds on the cover. My first Joe comic was issue 47 with him and wetsuit on the cover and he was in that uniform.

Me either. The writer of this crossover has done a few Danger Girl stories it appears from a quick look at Amazon. So if I end up liking the whole series I might have to check out a trade.

Sweet. Yeah, that's the same preview I saw at that other site. That jet looks like the Thunderwing. I like the Thunderwing.
I didn't read any DG back in the day either, but I think I may be ready for some now.

For all of you that haven't read or heard about Danger Girl, you need to read: Amazon.com: Danger Girl (9781840234183): J Scott Campbell: Books (http://www.amazon.com/Danger-Girl-J-Scott-Campbell/dp/1840234180/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1342589437&sr=1-2&keywords=danger+girl)
It was the very first story, origin of Danger Girl. I never knew about Danger Girl until 2003 when I got this paperback. If you like James Bond, Indiana Jones, Mission Impossible with some T & A you'll enjoy the stories. And if your a fan of Bruce Campbell, you'll like Danger Girl.

I am on the fence about this. I don't care for Danger Girl, and am not a fan of the art previewed. The different characters look the same, and the interior cockpit shots on those jets look too cramped as if the artist didn't consider them having arms or legs.

we could need a 3 3/4" danger girl action figure if this book sells well.

Incredible first issue. Can't say enough about how awesome the art is. Never seen Lady Jaye look so hot. I order from TFAW and was lucky enough to get Cover B (check that one out!). Can't wait for the second one...
