Here is my collection of 82-89 MOC/MISB Joes. I still have a lot of pieces I am looking for, but have many of my most-wanted items.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I just took these out of storage and have to come up with a good display for all of them. It's taken me quite awhile to find many of these pieces. Started collecting again in 1997 and got some of the more expensive pieces around then. Still have a way to go to complete my most-wanted items.

Pretty darn cool collection!

You know your wall has more figs and cool things than probably 100 walmarts and walgreens combined across the country!

Makes me think of back in the days as a child when I could stroll into Walmart and find an entire shelf full of Joes!

1984 thru 1989. Those where the days.

Very cool, how do you pick which pieces to go after? Or should I ask, what is your ultimate goal for carded/misb ARAH?

Thanks thai! I agree, those were the days!

I appreciate it CG76...but mine pales in comparison to your collection!

Haha, no way Steve! Thanks man!

I agree uber, I need to get them into a uv case now that they are out of storage. It did take a ton of patience to get many of these and will require a ton more to get my last pieces.

Thanks Llama! I just went for my favorite items as a kid and waited for a decent deal on most. My ultimate goal is to have all of them AFA graded or at the very least, put into acrylic cases. I still am after MISB HISS, Stinger, Mobat, Fang, Killer Whale, Asp, Moray, Night Landing, Night Raven and Tomahawk along with 82 Stalker, Scarlett, Zap and 83 Baroness and Airborne (pretty much CG76's collection haha). That will make my carded/sealed collection pretty much complete in my mind. As you can see, I only want to collect a handful of figures and vehicles, but still have a LONG way to go. I am not a completest at all (thank goodness).

Hey Bandy! Thanks man, I really appreciate it....I remember posting a pic of a single piece at a time in the Cobra Command thread. I finally got all my 80's carded/sealed collection together in one group to prove I do have all the pieces in my pics haha!

I have been impressed by a lot of collections over the years, but the pics of yours are the first that really took me back to "then". Does that make sense? Your collection really captures those "early years" of joe that hooked me forever.

Well done!

Thanks Breaker, that is quite the compliment! The early years of Joe is what hooked me also and my favorite to collect.

Fantastic collection, brother!

I would love a collection like this, but I admit, I would have a hard time not opening things. Maybe if I had 2 of everything? One to open, and one to stay carded. (Yeah, in my dreams!) LOL

You have obviously spent a great deal of time and $$ to acquire your MIB/MOC collection. Like you, I'm not a completionist either, but I want to finish collecting the loose figures and vehicles I either had or wanted as a kid.

Thanks for sharing your collection with us!

Thanks for the compliments guys. It means a lot to have collectors who know what kind of time and effort it takes to collect these pieces comment on my stuff. My collection pales in comparison to many here, but I keep on collecting what I like when I can afford it.

My latest..been waiting awhile to gather up the funds for it: MISB Cobra Stinger. Finally. 82 9 back Stalker also.

Thanks MonkeyBoyZ. I just collect carded and sealed Joe's now. I got rid of all my loose collection awhile back. I don't collect loose because it is a huge undertaking to keep them dusted and find room. I never displayed my loose figures because I never got into playing with/posing my figures after I outgrew them. I do love the card/box art. I also fondly remember how the toy stores were when I first saw these figures so many years back.... it kind of brings that feeling back when I look at my collection. Thanks again! :D
