Are these the previous DG figures?

I just hear about the $3 Joes but never saw any myself. Picked these up today from a local guy. Smaller cards and have a gijoeclub.com logo on the backs. YoJoe says they are 2008 re-releases from the VvV line for the secondary market.

Both DG's in town still have these, one has a complete box on the top shelf that has never been touched and some on the pegs

actually, all dollar stores had those. even tru outlets had them (for 5.99 oddly enough)

IIRC, there was also an o-ring Beach Head figure in that assortment.

Thanks. These has a sticker on the front that said "Their Price: $10 / Our Price: $5.99" so I guess then these came from the TRU outlet. I think these kind of stickers are funny. They always up the "their" price so their price looks even better. TJ Maxx is always doing that. I thought I was getting a greater deal there until I actually knew what they retailed for.

Well, yes and no. Although these are Dollar Store joes, there were much earlier releases that included new paint jobs for VvsV figures along with actual weaponry.

There was a red Alley Viper, Red BAT, black/gold/red Sand Viper just to name a few.

Yeah man, I was in the same boat when I first saw them! LOL! I <3 that Sand Viper though. The color scheme makes for a great IG trooper of sorts.
