I had actually started this a while back, but had a delay due to improper mixing of paint brands. What an amateur! I stripped off the paint and started over again, this time going with a regular hunter green for the body, and flat black for the armaments. I was actually in the planing stages for a Vamp Mark II custom, but have had no luck in finding that Ninja Cruiser anywhere near me.
I wanted to do a modern version, like the one that was done by KrmsynGardImmoral, but had difficulty masking off the irregular contours on this thing. Props to that dude, that HISS was freaking stellar with the paint apps! I don't have a steady hand for brush painting, thanks to years of heavy lifting at work. So I kept it basic, with colors reminiscent of the vehicles that came out in 82'-83' era.
I also turned my Cobra Commander into a HISS tank BAT with the spare head that came with the Jungle BAT's. The way he was put together didn't scream CC to me, especially with the lack of articulation. I figured if he was on top of the turret, he was bound to get hit by enemy fire.
