Am I the only one that is annoyed by the fact you cannot get battle stands for your figures to display, or is it just me? I do not care if they sell them in a blank multi-pack. I just want stands that includes GI joe and marvel. Does anyone really care that new nmarvel figures come with miniturized pictures of comics. Now joes don't even come with them. Anyone out there agrree with me? sound off.

I'm pretty sure you're not gonna find a single person on this site that doesn't agree with that sentiment. Unfortunately, unless Retaliation is a massive hit, or the economy miraculously turns around it looks like no stands, and 5 point articulation, and generic card art, etc. are here to stay.
I never cared for the stands. Mine are all in a paper bag somewhere. They were just awful. There isn't a figure made that I can't pose easily on my desk or tv cabinet. And I know all their names, so that was pretty pointless too. Especially the ones that said something like "Sgt. Stalker". Stands are way too new of an addition to whine about not having them. We got by just fine without them back in the 80's. The 25th stuff just had them because most of the people that bought them put them out for display, not playing with.

It doesn't bother me that stands are no longer included. I throw mine out anyway, but like fredro said: Marauder stocks stands if you need some. He has clear ones to boot, which is what I use to set up my enemy forces before I make my Joe guys blow them away.

I wholeheartedly disagree. I have no use for them, they go in a big bag in a box in the closet. I think figures look terrible with a big doormat looking thing stuck to their feet. We could get five more accessories from the amount of plastic they waste on those stands

But will collector's purchase sub - quality product? I will not - I bought 2 figures from Retaliation and am done. If people continue to reward Hasbro for producing junk, then Hasbro will continue to produce junk. You get the product you deserve. I am happy buying well - made customs.....don't really need any more SE or SS or Duke figs.

Anyone who puts their stands in a bag and puts them in the back of the close, please PM me. I love stands. In fact, I am trying to create labels for my drivers and custom figs. To each, his one.

It's funny, when I collected as a child in the 1980s, I did not have any stands. When I got back into it, in 2009, I was like "what's this, a stand? we don't need no stinkin' stands". Of course, I changed my mind and like them now. I have my figures tightly packed into a display case, so if one goes down, it is like dominos.

And then sales will drop off to nothing, If hasbro wants to save money maybe they should do something like do one really good Rock-block figure instead of an ok one, a slightly better one, and then a really good one, same for SE and SS and Firefly ect, ect. That probably would not only save some money but also return more revenue since fans wouldn't feel cheated by grabbing the just ok to see the really good one later.
Just sayin'

No stands is a deal breaker for me.
I do not play with my figures, I display them. So stands are a must. They are a big reason why I got back to Joe with the 25th. If 25th hadn't had them, then I probably wouldn't be on this site right now.
I will not buy a single figure that does not come with a stand. If that means I have to pass on all of Retaliation (save for the amazon preview set, which had them), then I will. So I'm really hoping whichever line comes after includes them once again.

I don't mind not having stands, but I really like having them. I like to play and display.

Hey!
If you need stands, please check out the Marauder IDS action figure stands. They work with vintage and modern figures (Joe, Star Wars, Marvel), can "interlock" for "no fall" formations and allow for 3d displays. Also, we'll soon have a "name plate" that attaches to the front of the stands. Available in clear and black.

Also, if you're an 'army builder" the stands allow for MASSIVE troop formations (will post an image of the 120 figure plus Imperial Troop formation we had at the recent GI Joe convention).

I am re-using old protech stands that I used for SW figs I had collected when EP1 came out. I really like the double foot pegs to hold the more pliable figures' feet.

Smalljoes.com Joe stands are great. Not only they have variant black and transparent stands, it has 4 pegs for better posing.
I have like 100 and glad I chose this.

It kind of amazes me how many people don't think stands are a necessary addition to their figures. When you have the size collection I do, all out on display at once, I assure you it will change your mind the first time you have a figure fall over...it's like domino rally. Add to that, that most of the 2007 and beyond figures can barely hold their weapons, and you've got a mini-disaster if they all start to topple over. So as others have said, if you feel your stands are worthless, feel free to shoot me a PM and I will gladly pay shipping, consider me your new stand dumpster, cause I got a whole lot of figures that don't want to fall over anymore.

I'm annoyed by it, but not as much as I am by the lack of file cards.
Original ARAH Joes didn't even have bases so it's not like we've never had Joes without them. I don't mind the lack of Bases with Marvel figures simply because the quality of the figures joints improved after they were discarded.
I do wish that Hasbro would sell blank ones similar to the DG style, or create a new Base that are like the modern ones but without the raised logos. Perhaps have the outline of the logos stamped onto the base, in this way Hasbro could use the same base for all 3 3/4 figures and just stamp something different each time like MARVEL, Star Wars, G.I. JOE, or the Cobra head.

I wish I would've seen this done at the convention. I decided to buy after you walk the entire imperial army across the counter, if I'd have seen this, I might've gone broke buying stands.
These stands are awesome and you can fit a ton of figures in a small space.

Here is a large formation of Imperial Forces on the Marauder IDS action figure stands. NO GLUE was used to attach the figures to the stands or to attach the stands together. Precise formation with NO FEAR of one figure falling over and the infamous "domino" effect taking out the rest of the figures. Took only 30 minutes to set up and did not have one figure fall over the entire con (and the entire 100 plus figure display was "slid" along the top of the counter throughout the con to the music of the SW Imperial March...so it looked like Darth was "walking" in front of the troops).

Hey John,
Was it your clear stands that were used in the Cobra display lab display at the Hasbro booth at this years JoeCon? I was wondering where those clear puzzle looking stands came from, looks like it might have been you!

Yup, those were our stands. The "Big H" guys came by during con setup and bought some to use in their display.
