30th Rampart

I did a modern Rampart last year and the only thing I didn't like were the legs. The lime green on the Airborne legs really throw things off. I finally got an extra set of Steel Brigade legs so now I think I'm truly happy with him. The legs color actually matches the color of his cap, but the flash makes them look lighter.

Nice swap from the AB legs. Using the heavy Arctic SE jacket/arms/gloves make him look like an arctic character though.

Haha...took a while before I realized the Han Solo reference.

As for looking like an arctic trooper, I tried to make him as close to the vintage one as I could with the parts I had without having to paint. I always thought the vintage one looked really bundled up too though. Guess it's kinda cold on the shoreline. :)

head - modified Spy Troops Recondo
cloth hood - POC Dusty
legs - 30th Steel Brigade
peg on belt for rifle - cut from Jungle Viper's long rifle's peg and modded to fit
rifle stand - Jungle Viper
goggles - POC Hawk
rifle - vintage Rampart (not shown, but I have the vintage Rampart missile launcher with him too)
rest - 25th Arctic Snake Eyes
