I am an avid toy collector, but as you can probably tell my focus is vintage Star Wars. In my collecting, I've aquired what I think is a GI JOE Budo carded figure with a super trooper logo offer on it and I believe its from 1988.
I think it is only right that I find a home for it with someone who will appreciate it and enjoy it. It is in safe hands as I do have Star Wars carded figures, but it doesn't fit my collection. It displays well and I would consider the card a C6. I've attached some pictures because I know my standards are not the same as others.
If anyone could help let me know what a fair offer or trade for it would be, that would be appreciated.
I concede GI Joe as the superior action figure, but being born just a few days before opening night of Star Wars sealed my fate. :)
Thanks again for your help!

In that condition I'd say between $15-25

^ Agreed. The figure in question fetches about $10 - $15 loose/mint/complete, so $25 would be a fair asking price for a carded example.
That said though, in the card's condition, I would say $20 is a stronger asking price.

Thanks for the info! Is posting it on the buy/sell classifed thread the best way to sell it?

Throw it up on eBay and see what you can get. Honestly, and this is just my opinion, I think you'll get more than 25$.
I just looked on eBay out of curiosity and people are asking a lot for their carded versions, of course, theirs are in good condition, but you could probably get a decent amount still.
I'll buy it for $20. PM me if you'd like to sell it to me.

I don't think you'll get more than $25 since it's on a Canadian card and due to its condition. I'd ask $25 and go from there.

I would say that it would be worth more than $25 if the card itself didn't have such a profound crease on the upper, right hand corner and if the bottom edges weren't frayed.

Of the ~20 that sold, only 5 of those sold for more than $30. What are eBay/Paypals fees now-a-days, 30%? I would say it's probably better to sell on the forums.

I didn't realize is was a Canadian card and you're right about eBay fees. You're probably better off selling it on here for $20-$25.

On a side note, I thought this thread was gonna be related to some ones wife throwing them out for collecting...don't know why, but I'm a little disapointed..

On a good day maybe $35.00 on the Bay. I have to agree with the average price of $25.00. I've seen a ton of these figures carded.

I got some Star Wars figures I'd be willing to trade. Matter of fact, I have a bunch of Star Wars figures I need to get rid of.

Thanks for your help everyone! Budo has found a new home with the help of this forum.
Also, I'm sorry to disappoint that the thread wasn't about my wife kicking me out for collecting...though I'm pretty sure she has considered it!
Thanks again!
