While I haven't done the Trooper yet it LOOKs like it will leave a trench that is gonna look odd unless filled in somehow.

the scarf cast actually goes between the upper torso halves, and around a pin at the bottom the neck. it's a giant pain in the ass basically and you'll have to sculpt over the gap it leaves...just not worth it.

Yeah, I figured out early that it was gonna be difficult to do. It sucks because I think this is what kept the figure from being dang near perfect.

Yeah, that scarf is silly looking. He looks like he's about to toss it over his shoulder in frustration, and say something like "Well I never!"

I've often wondered how one would remove the scarf. I guess I'm hearing you'd have to crack the torso to do it.

Thanks for the responses. It looks like I won't be ripping that thing off. It's cool, but I had something in mind for a custom. Looks like it's going to leave behind some ugly.
