I just sold some misc. Items on ebay, they were BIN and all buyers are paid up, items sent and packages almost to them. So why is paypal hanging on to my money for over 3 weeks? I need cash now, not 3 weeks from now.

because you have a new paypal account and they need the customers to verify they recieved there stuff before they will release the funds or until 4? weeks pass and no complaints from them.

Not necessarily a new account, but possibly havent sold enough on ebay, recently, etc. Its a way of safeguarding patrons so people cant sell something expensive, or a tons of items at once, make a bunch of money, cash out and split. I mean, if the stuff was sitting around anyway, its not like waiting a few weeks is a big difference. BUT, tell your buyers to leave feedback for you and the funds will be released immediately.
