Possibly, but I like the humorous contrast of them being badass biker thugs who have a softer side with the grape soda and chocolate doughnuts.

Have you read Grunt's file card? It's full of so many inside jokes, double entendres and a ton of irony. You can spend hours breaking it down.

I think I've read this blog before, and its still complete garbage.

I think most of those assessments are pretty off base. The author(s) is simply distorting whatever information they seem fit to make an unfunny joke such as implying that Rock n Roll is handicapped, and completely ignoring the last sentence in Bullhorn's file card which address the authors question.
I don't see anything in Crazy Legs' file card implying he'd been ostracized from the classical music community.

I'd be more forgiving if any of it was actually funny to me, but it's not.

Backstop's proto file card was pretty crude. His production version mentions not to get in his way, he's a rather unpleasant person.

Yeah this was posted here before. If you want good G.I. Joe comedy thats actually funny and written at a better than 8th grade level check out Cracked. They have a ton of Joe-related articles.
