Dojo sets on Clearance at Target

I found both of the Retaliation Dojo sets on clearance for $13.98 today. It's kind of sad they're already clearancing them out.

I'm not surprised: there are no new waves planned until next February, Hasbro isn't going to restock from all indications.

Probably going to push through inventory and then reintroduce them next year after Christmas.

Yeah, the beginning of August generally brings the "Second wave" of Summer product (or the "first wave" of ramping-up-for-the-holidays product). Basically new waves of all the "old" product lines that have had little new product for the last several months will probably start to filter in, and meanwhile, Target (at the very least) will probably clear out Retaliation product to make room for other stuff on their pre-holidays/fall reset.

I saw both sets on clearance on Saturday. I still couldn't pull the trigger. The MiB figures looked more interesting.

I think its maybe cause its seems that Target really over-ordered, or atleast ordered a ton, of the retaliation 1st wave. The stores seem to still be continuing to have stuff sent to them from their warehouses, so it doesnt surprise me.

I say thank god for target, otherwise with the whole cancellation there would have been slim pickings of this wave. Yep thank god target over-ordered i say.

Oh damn... I saw a bunch of them at Target today, but didn't think to check the price. All I want is the Beachhead... he is not worth $20 IMO, but might be worth $13. Need to go back and check this weekend.

I also want that SE bike fig for the Black Resolute SE head... hopefully that hits clearance too.

Nah, different Targets clearance things out at different times.

Not surprising. Target clearances everything out that isn't on the next planogram. No more restocks headed their way so they will get the clearance sticker to make space for the next reset.

Damn. Not clearanced here yet... I think the manager at my nearest Target is really stubborn, like if there is countdown clock on a bomb... he won't clearance any toys until the counter reads 00:01 seconds. LOL.
