Here are my custom veritech (Robotech / Macross) skystrikers (VF-1S / skull leader Roy Fokker) and (VF-1J/ Rick Hunter) using the incredible sticker sheets from cobrastickers.com. The planes were painted with Krylon Fusion White prior to sticker application.

Now you need to make custom Rick and Roy to go with these.

Nice paint jobs...I wanted to do these but it's just not the same since they dont turn into Battleroid and Guardian modes :(....they need to do one of those for SDCC sometime lol...

Yeah, it would be incredibly awesome if they did but I doubt it would happen given the cost.

I figure it is the same as the Transformers crossover skystrikers which don't transform either but look cool nonetheless.

Incredibly awesome! If I had the money and space, I'd love to do the same thing.

Thanks for the comments guys! Initially, I was going to put the stickers on the skystriker out of the box but I'm glad I decided to paint the planes white as it is more accurate and also really makes the stickers pop!

If the custom figs don't work out, you could always just snag the vintage figures! Those are still cool!

I do have the vintage figures - as many of them use the o-ring design - I thought it would be fitting that they be considered part of the gi joe universe!
