Has anyone done extensive modifications to True Heroes vehicles? I'm considering cutting into both the Chinook and the C-130, and would like to see pictures if anyone has done these. I can't quite be sure what they will turn out like, and it would be quite an expensive trial.

I'm looking to splice two Chinooks together to make one long one as pictured below. And I'm also looking to convert a C-130 into an Osprey. Any input, or pictures of already completed customs are welcome.

I've thought about that very idea with the chinook before, but the C-130 as an osprey? That would be amazing. I hadn't thought about that one. Looks like an awesome idea. Best of luck to you.

I don't remember where or who, but somebody else mentioned it once. I didn't come up with it.

If I were you, I would try to find every picture of the Chap Mei Osprey I could find to see how they used this design the first time. You may find that the Chinook actually is a better base for an Osprey, as it has a larger cargo space. It also doesn't have the large wing that when removed leaves a big hole in the top of the plane.

As to the mods required, this is where it gets challenging (and expensive). I have two suggestions: the tail section of the Rattler and the wings from the Retaliation Ghost Hawk II. The Ghost Hawk has that nice pivot for its jet engines that you could use to make engines VTOL. As for the wings themselves, you would need a new donor aircraft to make that as none that I can think of doesn't have some extraneous engine or something that would make unworkable.

In the end, it might be cheaper to find a European Tanker to buy you an Osprey.

I was actually planning on using the wings from the C-130, I would cut off the engines, and fill in the holes from where they were, and also cut off the tips of the wings since they would be too long. I don't like the Chap Mei Osprey, which is why I want to do this.

thats not a c130. but good luck.
What is it?

nice idea on the chinook, then again, what would u use to hold the 2 parts together? i thought of putting 2 iron bars inside and screw it up internally.
