R.I.P. Torin Quiles

Got a call this morning that my sister's boyfriend ,Torin Quiles, was killed on his motorcycle. He was 22. He leaves behind a beautiful 2 year old daughter (my niece), as well as his friends and family.

My deepest condolences go out to you and your family, DM. I know there's nothing I can say that will make any of this any better.

Thankfully, he leaves behind a great support system in you and his beautiful daughter will reflect his spirit every day.

this has been a deadly year for motorcyclists this year... 3 killed in my small town alone.

Thanks for all your kind words. My sister is taking it very hard. What bothers me the most is Dalylah will now have to grow up without ever knowing here father. My father was shot and killed when I was 4 and it has always left a void that can never be filled. I never knew my father and it pains me that my niece will know that pain. I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure she has a male figure in her life. My brother was close to Torin and he's been in bad shape as well today. Just an overall day worth forgetting.

Damn that sucks man. A child shouldn't have to grow up without knowing who their father is (whether good or bad). My gf lost her father when she was 3. She doesn't remember him. All she has of him is this old photo she keeps. It sucks.

Hopefully he had a life insurance policy or something. Financially, that sort of thing can be devastating. My gf's mother had to raise both kids herself and incurred a large debt that she still has to this day.
