Any scans of Sgt Majors filecard? Since he has never had a figure, I just wondered what they came up with.

Yeah, I'll be the first to admit, I know nothing about this character.
Reminds me of the Red Shadows Black Major, but for Iron Grenadiers.

Is his appearance based on a particular appearance in the comics?

He is basically the first IG. According to his FC. He served as a manager for the castle in Destro's absence and was his personal body guard and driver. His title is more of a respect/morale booster for the troops. He is Destro's number 1 guy though...

lol.

Also says he is an IG trainer. Also since the IG's are rewarded accordingly he does not tolerate dissent from any of the IGs'. If he catches wind his punishment is final. This guy seems hard fucking core. His quote on his FC is "Never disappoint Laird Destro."

He was around right at the beginning when they started the Iron Grenadiers storyline in Marvel.

In the G.I. Joe TCG the Sergeant Major card gets +4 Power when he attacks a soldier with no unit behind it.

Just wondering where the red beret look is from

The Con set this year was OG/IG and we know now that Dragonsky and Big Bear are in the FSS v2. We got Sergeant Major as an IG officer/trainer.

Any chance the 13th v1 figure is an ME Rowdy Roddy Piper?

Would FSS subscribers-to-be be happy or mad with that?

I'd be OK with Roddy, but I bet Muskrat would be a safer choice. Or Keel-Haul.

With what we know is coming, what is left/missing?

Frostbite(although he has a figure)
Keel-Haul (I don't see us getting a FLagg but maybe something slightly smaller)
Tollbooth(But he needs the bridge layer)
Fast-Draw (Weak)

How about Adm. Ledger or Col. Sharpe?

It seems odd to me that Dragonsky and Big Bear are (assuming v2 follows v1 protocol) going to be carded only while the OG are a loose set otherwise, but I assume there is a master plan that makes sense.

Still hoping for Keel-Haul, Big Ben, Big Brawler, Gung-ho DMB and Spearhead.

Sad days when you have to mod your first con purchase.

Fast Draw would probably take too much new tooling. Beyond that, I really doubt it's going to be someone as "mainstream" as most of your choices. I know a lot of people are thinking that the 13th figure is somehow gonna be the coolest figure of the whole set, but I doubt that's going to be the case. It will be a "cool" figure, but not a "critical" one.

Tollbooth and Keel-Haul I could see as subscription figures at some point. Muskrat to my mind is more likely to be a "Membership Figure" sometime in the next couple of years.

But the "Mystery 13th" will be someone obscure. Probably either an international Joe of some kind or a comic/cartoon character that wasn't part of the "classic" line. Ironically, the Sgt. Major would have been a pretty good choice for something like that.

Truth be told, I almost wouldn't be surprised if they got a little "meta" and made the "mystery figure" Shooter from G.I. Joe: Declassified.
