do you want to remove the old decals and strip the vehicle? i just peel/remove the old decal by finger nail or tweezers or however first. then to remove the old film i dab goo gone on the residue and let it marinate for five min or so. after that, goo gone on a rage/old washcloth scrub till the residue is gone. then i wipe off the excess and rub on some isop. alcohol. after that a bath in 409 spray cleaner, let it sit for a few min, then hot water (sink or bath tub) and your plastic is good as new. any left over goo gone can be hit with more alcohol... note, spraying 409 directly on your decals for a quick clean is risky at best, generally will screw up the decals one way or the other...

I would be leery of any solvent and cautious. It may not work the same for every type of sticker or may react badly with the plastic of the toy under it. If they are using to clean then it would be highly diluted with something. May want to check into that further or get you a test subject to test it out on first...

I've never used it...but I've seen this video about it.
