View Full Version : Vehicles Retalliation HISS upgrade

*July 4th Update: New pics and comparison to HISS V5 at the bottom of the page*

I managed to pick up an extra HISS V at Tuesday Mornings for cheap and with some other parts, I updated my Retalliation HISS.

Sorry about the crappy pictures as I don't have my good camera today. I'll reshoot and post more pics later when I have that camera including a side by side with my black HISS V.

I added the red HISS V tracks to the brown V5 lower half and modded the upper half to fit.
Additionally, I added the chin gun from a red HISS V to the rear so it has some rear protection/firepower and I added the rear cage onto the Retalliation one as well.
Lastly, I modded a V5 interior into the Retalliation one. Hope you guys like it.

Looks good man! Been thinking about doing that interior swap for the commissioned Hiss I'm working on. Nice touches on the back end with the gun and bumper thingamabob.

Looks good.I went the easier route since my Retaliation Hiss Tank had connection problems. I added to the Hiss V the Canopy and the Gatling guns from the Retaliation Hiss. The turret from the Retaliation Hiss is going on the Cobra (former Imperial) Juggernaut.

Thanks! Here's the actual part list:

Main vehicle - Retalliation HISS
From a brown V5 HISS - the raising and lower mechanism (ie. lower half), the cage at the rear, the connection port that connects the top to the bottom and the cockpit interior.
From a red V5 HISS - the chin guns, cockpit console piece and the treads

I replaced all the Retalliation stickers with the ones from the brown V5.

Basically, the whole lower section is from a HISS V5. The connecting poing on the Retalliation one is in the same location as the V5 one, luckily. However, it's a hole on the Retalliation one and a peg on the V5 one.

What you have to do is unscrew the whole upper section and remove the mounting tab. Once you open up the tanks, it'll be obvious.

Then on the Retalliation one, after unscrewing it and opening it up, you have to just to enlarge the opening at the bottom so it's large enough to fit the V5 connecting point. Because the tab is spring loaded, you do not need the rest of the mechanism that's in the V5 tank.
