So I decided to re-do my Bruce Wayne one more time. It's probably the 4th one I've done. Since I started using the Roadblock/Night Adder sculpt for my Batman, the challenge has been to make a suited civilian with enough bulk to match Bats.
The last one I made might have had too much bulk. I also switched the head I was using (from a painted Renegades Duke) to this one, a) because it's not as overused right now, and b) it's younger, and my Batman is at the start of his career. I considered using the Bale head from the new movie 5-pack, but it's too small for this torso.
New head (from the TRU cheap Sci Fi figs)
New Body (Doctor Strange instead of Cross-Bones)
Improved articulation (using the Strange waist an upper thighs, and modding the movie Sabretooth legs to fit as a full swivel at that point).
The goals were - a head I liked better, that looked a bit younger to fit my verse, and overall looked more bad ass than the Renegades Duke head I started with. AND to make him a more completely articulated figure. Since I had two of the heads, I also made an unmasked Batman. Deciding on whether I need to add a hood to represent the mask being pulled back, or not.
