I'm having trouble fitting ME figures in the DTC/VvV humvess; is this something normal?

ME figs and beyond are generally taller... so yes... this is normal.
They were made for O-ring figs.

Here's a list of compatable and non-compatable

In a situation like this, I find some of the more proportionate New Scuplt O-ring figures and put them in it and display with ME figures. Once in a vehicle the differences aren't as noticeable and it makes for some neat displays.

I'll normally place sub-teams on the shelf together or by geographical theme whether it's ME or O-ring; however, I'm starting to figure out some stuff isn't looking right or isn't fitting properly.

Ah, that's sad. I've had both the camo and night ops humvees boxed up for some time, but I only have ME figures now. Guess it's time to sell them off. Anyone know if the hammer works? I believe I have that boxed away too - didn't see it talked about in the other thread...

I've only tried POC Duke in the Night Ops Humvee so far; he's smaller than most other ME Joes so I'm sure most won't fit in it.

No, you must have larger than normal ME figures. Trying shopping at a normal size store.

Click to start a reply, and there is a button below the text box that says "manage attachments". Click that and it's pretty simple to attach a photo from your computer.

It all depends on who you are using. Some ME don't fit because they have 'diaper' crotches so they can't bend their hips 90 degrees so they can't really sit down.

Here's some ME figures next to my Humvees; I've sort of made Lade Jaye fit in it earlier however that's really pushing it.

Nice goodguys9. I like the Night Ops Humvee 'cuz its black. Tired of the woodland and desert camo. Maybe you should just get a generic Elite Force soldier for the driver to fit then just put the Joes at the back

I'm going to leave the ME figures on their stands and maybe put my VvV/DTC figures in the Humvees like I used to have.

This. Also some Joes really are just too tall, but there's plenty of Joes who can fit. I find the front seats are a bit trickier to get figures to fit into, but it can still be done without too much effort (rear seats have more leg room and are easy to get figures to fit). I've got RoC Rollbar as the driver of mine and randomly grabbed 25th Doc, PoC Spirit, and Retaliation Beachhead to fill out the other seats just to show it can be done.

I'll put my 2004 figures in the Humvees, the ME figures while we can see they fit make me nervous I'll hurt them trying to make them fit in.

You shouldn't be glad, despite being a tad on the small side (even for some new sculpt guys), it is still an amazingly cool vehicle, with some awesome extra accessories and the "truck bed" is more useful than the classic slopped back.
As is, I'm still surprised we haven't seen them in the recent GI Joe line, especially considering Humvees were present in the attack in the Retaliation trailer.

yep, I still think some of the better sculpted o-ring figures look fine as vehicle drivers.

I've said this before, but some of the New Sculpt/VvV/DTC or whatever you want to call them vehicles are some of the best vehicles the Joe brand has ever seen. I don't know why Hasbro doesn't use them some more.

I picked up a Night Ops Humvee at the Con for $25. It and my GI Joe Desert Humvee are two of my favorite GIJoe vehicles. They fit in really well with the POC and 30th VAMPs.

Good to know. I've started opening and assembling my HISS's, and after that VAMPS and Humvees are next.
