So what news actually came from this Joe convention?

I seem to be lost on the purpose of this Joe convention. Obviously I am on here every day, but in the news, there only seemed to be reveals for the convention exclusives, cancelled 30th figure concepts, and some movie figures revealed. Uh, what about news on the movie? Did they state if they were really doing reshoots to keep Duke alive? Anything on a cartoon series? Comic book? Anything outside of the toys we either don't care about or now want to kill Hasbro for not releasing? Or even, for toy news, what about the Dollar General stuff? Did they say anything about those?

Again? Guess I missed that story. As for the reshoots, I believe during the movie panel, it was said that they couldn't comment on the reshoots or delay. IDW had a comics panel, but I have yet to hear anything from it. No talk of a new cartoon. If there is one, the plan is probably still for it to start sometime after the movie. Edit: and dollar general joes - they are very unhappy about the distribution of these and will not release a second wave until they can make sure wave one is widely available.
