So, my first attempt at Ghostrider, I was lazy and made him with a green flight suit and used the excuse that it's better to be in green if he gets shot down. However, he flies the Stealth Fighter and shouldn't get shot down so I decided to not be lazy and do one more close to his vintage look. I left the chest holster brown cause I don't paint. It works out though as a nod to the vintage one's brown holster I guess. :)

What do you think?

I didn't want to waste the Ace figure that the legs came from, so here he is with his ground crew member:

Nice work. I'm sure someone will notice the camo pattern on the butt, but I don't care, because like you I don't paint. :)

might be able to remove that with some denatured alcohol or acetone?

He looks great - Even the helmet works for me

Thanks! The flash actually makes the camo on the butt more visible and the camo on the legs less visible...haha.

If you look closely, the legs under the flight suit parts have the same camo as the one on the waist but slightly lighter in color though.

Sweet I love all of your customs, and I have to know where is that head from?

Thanks. The head is from the comic 3 pack Breaker. ALVIN "BREAKER" KIBBEY (v3), YOJOE.COM | YoJoe.com: Dedicated to the G.I.Joe of the 80's, 90's and beyond! (http://www.yojoe.com/action/05/breaker3.shtml)

I loved the Phantom Stealth Fighter as a kid. It was the LAST GI JOE toy I purchased before I stopped collecting. I wish I still had that toy. My friends and I would chase each other around the yard. I would fly the Phantom and he'd fly the NightRaven. Damn those were the days.

This is a cool 25th (30th) version of this character. I love everything...except the helmet. Even with my Ace and new Skystriker, I still use my comic pack Ace to fly it. That helmet bugs me.

But I regress.

The figure is PERFECT. Right down to the scarf detail! Nice touch.

Anyone know if 25th (30th) figures fit inside the Stealth fighter? That would be a great vintage toy to hunt down.

Except for that neon green. Neon Green and realistic fighter helmets. Get me every time.

Got the Phantom X-19 & Ghostrider last year because I was a huge fan of them from the Marvel comics. Great update to a classic character. While the helmet may not look traditional, it suits the character for the 30th anniversary theme.

Looks really good man. Especially because of the fact you don't paint and have to choose your parts carefully. Where is the jacket from?

The jacket and arms are from the ROC Rampage/Heavy Metal.

Thanks for the comments. :)

Thanks! I've actually got some ideas in my head for Updraft too. Just needing to finalize how to do it and get the parts and I'll probably make one.

looking good. I've never been a fan of those lower legs, but it's a personal preference. I really dig the scarf and great use of the jacket and head.

Hehe...waiting for the helmet cast from you and then I can update it. Can't wait till you get a chance to do it for me. :)
