Had to get rid of the silly arrangement of 6 shooters attached to the back of the pack. I mean really what is that? Is this trooper carrying the gun chest around for everyone to grab from?
Let me know what you think?

The figures are great. The backgrounds are phenomenal. Wish I had more than 2 of the troopers.

How did you get the holsters off the packs? I had the same thought but wasn't sure till I saw your examples.

i agree-duke,both troopers and ss are among my fav from the line..cc being number one-note duke trashed head and used body as a trooper-avoiding the whole "you like tatum DIE FA....."

I didn't think the Troopers could get much cooler, but I was wrong. Awesome work.

Awesome.
I dig your modifications.
As nice as the stock figure is, the guy doesn't carry mags for his primary weapon and 4 handguns on his yukon pack make no sense either. Neither does the totem-pole for the gasmask.
You solved the main issues nicely.

Thanks guys. Some pieces I've purchased at my local hobby store and some I make from scratch.
No photoshop with me except if I turn black and white. I don't know how to use it. Silly I know. So what you see is what it is. I have a dio table down in the basement.

Wow! Amazing paint and dry brushing! Love the shots. Now this is what Joes should look like. These photos are magazine quality! Give me an idea of what you charge for paint commissions? I'm looking to do a bunch of joes and cobra for display in my work studio.

Did you use the hot water method to remove the pistol holsters from the backpacks? Could you post pictures of the plug ends of those holsters? I'm thinking of removing them and adding them to legs but not sure how they fit on.

Customs look good. Im not a big fan of the figure though, mostly because the legs are too long. The torso is the tried and true shocktrooper, and the arms are pretty boss. I think what really puts your post over the top is the photography and staging...very very cool.

Punchitchewy thanks for the comments. For all the faults there are alot of pluses. Very poseable and the cuff closure can be painted to resemble specop wrist Comm. (I interviewed for a company that makes them for specops if you haven't seen one. Square to Rectanglular and bulky, reads pulse, send messages, video and gps and so much more). Very cool

thanks for the compliment, never commissioned before, but have been putting something in place to eventually do that. Thanks for the vote of confidence and kick in the ass to do it. Let me think about it.
