What exactly is covered in this class, anybody know?

I'm not gonna lie, some of those look terrible. The kitchen viper and Shockwave on the other hand...

Cool customs.

Some looks good, some not. I like dark Night Creeper and RV, green Viper looks very nice. Personaly I think releasing Vipers in desert or woodland camo would be a good idea.

That Backstop figure is pretty boss. I would buy that if it were an actual release. There's a lot of really good customs there.

Definitely some hits and misses there. I really like the Major Bludd and Night Force Stalker.

I'm def digging on the Shockwave. And, what I suspect to be Bullhorn? I wish the jungle SE pic was clearer. I also really like the Mutt and Junkyard because I have them lined up for myself with similar parts.

Definitely some hits and misses there. I really like the Major Bludd and Night Force Stalker.

I like the Major Bludd one, too. The huge helmet just works for me.

All of these look like the designers were having a lot of fun.

I really like quite a few of these and would buy them in a heartbeat if they were released. It's a shame how much better most of these are than the currently released (excluding Joe Trooper) Retaliation figures.

Yeah, that Shockwave is way nice. I would buy 2 at least. One for each hand...

the female viper would be awesome,...among others...

Like some others have said, "some look nice, some look bad". I am liking the Plague team though! Shockwave looks awesome in his original color scheme. I like the updated Mutt and Skymate looks pretty cool too. Lawn-Viper has a cool head sculpt but overall it's ridiculous. The Copperhead update is pretty cool too.

I really do like some of these. Creating Plague figures is something some of us on here would do. Also love the Ninja Force Zartan, the Glenda figure and the female Viper.

I definitely like the plague members, bludd, the female viper, shockwave, and a few others. Wish they could've gotten these to shelves during this long hiatus we are facing...

HEAT Viper and the Stalker are my favorites.

I would like the Ninja Force Zartan and several of the troopers--including the woman--to show up at a Dollar General. I'd buy that.

The Jungle Serpent and Major Bludd are my two favorites. But Bludd needs a better helmet. I like the Sonic Fighter Stalker too. That Zombie Viper is how it should have looked in the first place.

Yeah, there's some nice ones in there. I like the Sonic Fighters Stalker, black-shirted Chuckles, the HEAT Viper, the guy in pic #10, the Air Commandos Spirit, and Backstop...they all look great. I'd buy them if they were produced.

...well...there are some winners...and there are some losers...though I would love to see kitchen vipers in stores...I'd definitely grab them and any female characters they actually want to produce as they are scarce as hell in the GI Joe universe and even more scarce in the action figures...especially female troop builders, while we're on the subject of diversity among troop builders, how about some ethnicity in the ranks (affirmative action comes to cobra?), cobra kinda comes off as racist-elite since almost everyone in Cobra is white (a fact that really makes me believe that they are an evil organization)...

I'm guessing at least a couple of these didn't quite make it to final paint apps? Specifically Ninja Force Zartan (Although in that color scheme, you could give him a new head and it'd be an almost perfect "Pre-Cobra/Civilian" Zartan), the female Viper, and Lawn Viper's Head?

But seriously, most of those are pretty awesome. Kitchen and Lawn Viper would be awesome as say, a SDCC exclusive two-pack.

Get those Plague members out in a 7-pack ASAP! (C'mon Hasbro, you're saving enough on the molds that you could cook together enough new parts for a modern-style Blackout and Munitia to round it out....heck, Blackout might not even need any new parts). And the nice bit about Interrogator is if you don't like him as a Plague member, just pop the head off and put it on RoC Destro and you practically get DTC Interrogator (http://www.yojoe.com/action/06/interrogator3.shtml).

Of course, the other interesting side of this is that if Hasbro doesn't make 'em, there's a chance the Club could...

Shockblast is, by far, the best looking custom here. I would buy him, actually multiples of him, if he were on the shelf, in a heart beat. I also really like the Copperhead, Jungle SE and, even though I've never really liked his overall look/design, I actually like how Major Bludd looks here.

Y'know, I'm pretty sure that's not Shockwave/Shockblast.

It's Wide Scope (http://www.yojoe.com/action/03/widescope.shtml) (who pretty much everyone who was collecting back then counted as a Shockwave update anyway....).

(Yeah, I know it's really Shockblast/Shockwave, but still!)...

I was never a fan of Shockwave. He was just a cop, too ordinary. And his camo is just an awful reminder of the 90s.

I don't really see the point of that Copperhead either. It's not a big enough step up from the regular figure.

It actually wasn't until a couple weeks ago that the redundancy of Shockwave kinda struck me: He's a SWAT team member. OK, so I suppose if he's the best SWAT guy in the United States, then maybe he does have some things he can teach the Joes about CQB (Close Quarters Battle/Indoor Urban Fighting), but really, most if not all of the Joes would already be very well-trained in CQB, likely on a level equal or superior to an average SWAT team member. So...yeah.

I always saw Shockwave as the base trainer for SWAT tactics. along side bechhead when he was at the base as well He trained the greenshirts and didnt go out with the joes on thier team as he already did his time with them with Law and Order. He decided to move into the training role to better facilitate his background and experience for the new recruits on the base.

Wish they finished painting the female viper. Loved the updates of the 25th/ME figures we already got, ie Shockwave, Cooperhead, Crockmaster. Love the non neon color scheme for ninja force Zartan.

That Chef Viper is awesome and is making me want to see a line of cafeteria based Cobra figures like; Kitchen Commander, Baker Baroness, and Dishwasher Destro.

I like the Major Bludd. He needs a new version.

I like the direction the Snake Eyes with the boonie hat is headed, but I'd love to see the Vietnam LRRP version of him in modern sculpt.

they all look good, I just cant get over though, that the Junkyard with the Mutt looks like its Triumph the Insault Comic Dog, with the eyes painted like they are.

I actually like the idea that the GI Joe team is open to more than just military personel. Due to health problems I suffered my senior year in high school, I was unable to join the military as I had planned to do after high school. I was a huge fan of GI Joe and had been collecting them ever since my grandmother bought me my first Joe, Flash, for Christmas in 83. My interest in GI Joe was a huge part of why I wanted to join the Army after high school.

Because I was unable to join, I enjoyed the fact that there were a few (very few) civilian characters among the Joes. Characters who were SWAT team, FBI (and later on, just civilians who were computer hackers) gave me another chance to feel a connection to the Joes. That feeling like, if they were real, my chance to be a part of it wasnt gone.

I love alot of these figures. Which are the custom class figures? And who is the character in #9 supposed to be. He looks good, but I dont recognise the character.
