Hasbro reusing SDCC James McCullen

During a random search for Marvel Universe 3.75" figures, I discovered that Hasbro used the same body that was originally used for the GI Joe Rise Of Cobra San Diego Comic Con James McCullen, this time they used it for Professor X. This is not a rant against Hasbro. I am glad that the suit body is being produced again. Now I just need to find a few.

The problem MU is they are becoming hard to find. Who knows how available the wave will be. The newest wave has been extremely delayed. Some think this is due to the movie lines for Spider Man and Avengers either Hasbro or the retailers aren't interested in the line with no movie tie in...who knows

This was posted when Prof X was revealed at Toy Fair. That is wave 21 I believe and has been found in NY in small Mom and Pop shops. Apparently fell off a truck.

A more recent image that was on ToyArk showed that the vest and tie are indeed removable. These have begun showing up in the Philipines. It is indeed the same figure, as most of us expected. The prototype shown at NYCC was different from the final figure.

i got em when hasbro 1st started sellin on their site and i dont think pro.x is the same mold only marvel toy i know that has a gi joe mold is the fury of cobat pack nick fury from which i can tell is a repaint of beachhead i didn't use the body anyway tho put the head on poc se and jacket on someone else

Let me say it again. People in NY already HAVE this figure thanks to cases showing up in small Mom and Pop stores with links to China. It is the exact same mold except for the head. Jubilee and Blastaar were also found there.

How the f**k did these mom and pops get Wave 21, when we haven't even seen Wave 18 hit the pegs yet???

Knowing the dumb@$$ at Hasbro they will release Prof. X at 1 per every 5th case. I'll have a better chance cloning my Avatar then getting a Prof. X if it ever gets a countrywide release.

There are lots of good characters left and some of the originals could use a redo. But yeah, I could see Hasbro in its current mindset only producing lines tied to movies or the occasional cartoon. I'd much rather have the MU line when we get all these characters instead of 37 Iron Men tied to the next Avengers movie line.

There are a LOT of Hasbro toys sitting in warehouses and in customs apparently that (according to insiders) Hasbro can't afford to get shipped or pay the customs fees due to poor sales. Some ( and I mean ver few) cases made it to sellers here due to connections in China.

yeah, there are some weird case-packs floating around in order to get their product out before the end of the year.

For example, that Hulk is in wave 18, Prof X is in 21. There are reports of some really weird mixes coming.

Still, I'll probably pick three to five up online even though I stopped collecting MU. I'll probably get one just for Prof. X, and the others for customs. I'm thinking PoC Headman and maybe a government official.

It's not just you. The line is extremely behind schedule. There has not been new product anywhere for some time. We should be on wave 19 or 20, but 18 has not come out yet. Wave 17 came out in December.

i hope prof.x is as good as destro have too and the body is perfect the head looks like the guy but never used it hate that guy they shouldve went with the guy who was gonna play destro
