I got cyclone kick SE the other day for fodder. I didn't realise it was just his waist that had the action attack and they didn't really skimp on any articulation. After playing with it for a while I decided I fucking love this figure.

I also love arctic Destro (or arctic Red Jackal, as I have repurposed him). I cannot understand any hate for this actual fig. So it pegwarms? It' s a fantastic figure!

I also love Ret CC, Zartan and dojo RB. Yeah, I'm pissed that they cut articulation, but the matt leather texture on the lower legs is awesome.

I like the cobra trooper unlike many others I think his colors are fine. This is your general/generic day time para trooper to me it makes sense. Also ROC reactive armor Ripcord, really cool figure.

According to most of what I have read on this site you could list pretty much any character here. It seems some are generally more unpopular though. I think Chuckles is cool. Headman, and Shipwreck is my favorite Joe! I also dig Quick Kick and he seems to be sort of put down alot too.

I don't have any as of recently. When I was a young lad I would say the yellow and black alley viper. While the figure was awesome, the colors were defenitely lacking intellegent battle field design. I don't know why, but he was a bullet proof bad a$$ that took out many joes untell eventually gitting beat in a fist fight by heavy duty.

Tornado kick Storm Shadow is my one of my very favorite Storm Shadows way above Renegades Storm Shadow. He has a freaking sea shell on his forhead!

the ROC neo vipers IMO are cool they dont really fit in w the 25th or modern guys but I like em
also I think the MARS troopers are really cool and no one really likes them which is ok for me I buy at big lots for 7 bucks and they have tons of em!

+1 for Raptor. He's got great abs.

As a kid I thought Raptor was silly. Recently my brother and I were going through the old o ring Joes that we got out of my mother's attic. We came acorss old favorites but when we hit Raptor we gave him another look. Raptor gets my vote now! I also liked Cutter and Frostbite. Not sure If Crankcase qualifies as an unpopluar figure but he was favorite Joe driver/pilot next to Clutch.

The first single-carded ROC Storm Shadow remains one of my all time fave SS figs. Love everything about it. Also love ROC Rex Lewis- amazing, original sculpt with tons of details, accessories, versatility, and play value.

Cobra Mole Pod. Yes, I said it. The thing reminds me of the "modules" that Shredder and his warriors would ride around in in the original TMNT cartoon. In fact, it's far more similar than the Mutant Module vehicle that was released in the TMNT line. I feel like the Mole Pod is just a cool little sci-fi vehicle.

Paris Pursuit Storm Shadow. He's just so stylish, and I love the kicks.

Metalhead v1. No matter how stupid he was in the cartoon, I love a dude who is 1 man anti-tank weapon.

Ninja Dojo Roadblock. Really needs ankles, but is just one badass looking dude.

Retaliation Cobra Trooper. The blues are a little bright, but I love the overall design--it feels a little like a Sci-Fi WWI uniform, or something.

Renegades Ripcord. Just a really cool looking figure that works better as a new character.

Zombie Viper. Obviously a lot of people love it, but an equal number of people hate it.

POC version of ROC Cobra Commander. Just a really badass looking figure. The chrome, shiny red, and black/gray makes for an awesome color combination.

ROC Cobra Commander. Sure, I hate it AS Cobra Commander, but as some scarred Cobra scientist it's a cool figure.

Rex Lewis, both variant. I like the white jacket version is a Cobra scientist, and take the jackets off the other version and use them as twisted Psy-Ops, like Psycho Mantis.

ROC Doc. Don't know why, but the bright colors work for me.

Modern era? Has to be arctic destro. I absolutely love that figure and can't understand the hatred he gets...

Vintage would be several... Crankcase and skid mark were always two of my favorite joes.

Darklon and overlord were favorites of mine as well.

I also liked a lot of the vvv/spy troops era new characters and would love to see more of them in the modern lines.

I'm actually a huge fan of Renegades Scarlett. I think she's the best Scarlett that Hasbro has released, well... ever!

Great sculpt, great articulation and overall a great update. My only complaint is her lackluster accessories but other than that she's near perfect, IMO.

Many of the RoC figures, particularly:

Any figure in Reactive Impact Armor - They and the "Blue fatigue" Joes make up an entirely different faction of my Joe-verse.

Cobra Commander - If you use him as someone other than Cobra Commander...he's a pretty awesome figure. The PoC version arguably even better.

RoC Destro - A simple, functional militaristic look for Destro.

I get the impression that Rex "The Doctor" Lewis, Helix, and Elite Vipers from RoC were fairly popular.

I love this figure too, the rich metallic red is awesome, especially in sunlight! He makes a great "royal guard" for CC. Actually a lot of ROC figures are cool. I also really like the Elite Vipers, ROC Flash, and Pit Commandos.

I really like the TRU Exclusive ROC Doc in the Arctic gear...he makes a great addition to the 3 3/4" Adventure Team. I'm pretty sure he counts as unpopular, I remember some hate he was getting when first revealed.

Tollbooth is one of my favorites since my dad is a retired combat engineer.

Yeah he only came with a sledgehammer, but in my make believe battles he crushed a lot of Cobra skulls with it.

Renegades CC is pretty damned amazing and he has Serpentor with him. Retaliation Zartan is quite cool. SE v52 is awesome; sure, he's out of place in a desert but he'd be cool in the arctic.

Fourthed. The Neo-Viper mold is overall pretty... not great, but the Blood Red-on-Black is striking and gorgeous, and more importantly, intimidating. I can just picture a small squad of these guys acting as PoC Cobra Commander's personal entourage.

Speaking of which, there's one I enjoyed. RoC/PoC Cobra Commander. A great figure, if a bit unconventional for CC.

Agreed. I wound up renaming this guy Blood Red (just gave him a new label for his stand) and imagined he was Tomax and Xamot's personal bodyguard and assassin. Gave him a ninja sword, too, since I have way too many of those things in my spare accessory box.

I also have love for the neon green Nano Viper, the one who came with the bean stalk thing. Such a weird looking figure, but really cool.

Renegades Scarlett is my favorite figure of the Character. I wouldn't mind if Hasbro released a repainted version with actual red hair and threw in the badass Crossbow from the Night Creeper, maybe throw in a Bolt action rifle too. Hell we'd have an IDW style Scarlett if it was painted just right.

I don't understand why the desert battle Storm Shadow is so unloved. I personally think he is my favorite with his entire assortment of close combat weapons.

Firefly will always be my favorite character, but that Storm Shadow figure takes the cake, you can just pose him so many ways and he'll always look cool.

I don't know how unpopular the ROC City Strike Snakeyes really is, but the trenchcoat makes this figure. You can tuck the knife under the belt "holster" and his pistol against his chest underneath his coat, and they will stay fine.

To me, this is more "flak jacket" Snake Eyes than "desert battle". As a whole I think he works well if you consider the bulkiness armor is supposed to add. Yeah, he's breaking with his usual svelt ninja style, but with those knee pads, highly detailed armored visor, and the ability to hang two uzi's form his jacket, he exudes a nice change of pace towards a heavy-battle oriented character. Plus, his arm articulation offers better range than you would think.

I have no idea either why this guy doesn't get more love. Is he kind of an exclusive take, like the Snake Eyes above and may not make to much sense as anyones main SS figure. However, he's pretty much everything you could want out of an desert campaign. the sculpt and accessories are increadible: wel done leather belt, with real cloth skirt and a real chain weapon. He's the best sculpted SS and has accesories that nearly match the renegades take.

Everybody bitched about it pegwarming so Hasbro took care of it. Now the pegs are completely empty. No more pegwarmers, just empty space. No more finding action figures, only online scalpers survived.

dogfight, I'm what salty looking prick. never had one as a kid but that dude speaks volumes about what gi joe was for me. wish I had more free time to do a ME version of him.

I'll join the acrtic destro pile as the design is great. I bought almost all of them in my area for custom fodder. especially when they finally got clearanced, and for toys for tots. I think I have probably 10 or 12 still on carded, and the water shootering gun? forget it, badhass. much better attempt at reaching out to the kids than the giant spring loaded weapons. and I like those too. just never thought it was good business sense to give the figures a hit to accommodate. robbing peter to pay paul as they say.

toolbooth and the bridge layer. regular dude, most real world toy I think hasbro ever produce. I like more the more fantasy side of things as I was was a cartoon joe fan, but that taught me about the military aspect of gi joe more than any other toy. changed my little kid world view.

and I like almost all of them to one degree or another.
