I tried to go to the project-arah site last a while ago, but it appears that the domain name has expired. I am wondering where this leaves the ones like me who paid over $100 for the membership and the club exclusive figures. I would like to believe that Slayer Dave is going to someday finish the figures, and I would love to have them, but I am skeptical that this will happen. Status reports about the figures have been few and it appears that Dave is suffering from poor health. I wish him the best, but I also wish that a part of the ARAH team would contact the members to let them know what the deal is.

I'm with you. I spent $125 for all of the figures just to find out I got stiffed. The very few figures that were produced went to people like those who run certain podcasts related to Gi Joe. I have held out some small hope that I will either get the figures I paid for or at least get my money back however I think that is just a pipe dream at this point. With the site now down and needing renewal, I don't see any future for Project Arah. I was really into the project and all the potential it had but excuse after excuse soured me to it. Now with Dave's health issues taken precedence over all else (understandable), I think we can pretty much take this one as a learning experience and call it done.

Hey guys, the site is back up.
A few days after march's Slayercon, Dave found that his cancer had returned.
I've been texting with Dave every couple of weeks or so and things are not pretty. Basically he has cancer behind his eyes. He's doing all the chemo/radiation stuff and it has really knocked the wind out of his sails and sadly, he may lose an eye.
Dave told me recently that he is committed to getting the figures out when his health returns. He also is sorry about the delays.
Guys, I understand your frustrations, I honestly do. I have invested heavily in the project. I thank you for your patience. The project-ARAH members like yourselves have been AMAZING through this!

You mean to tell me that some actually went out to people? This is the first that I have heard of this. I understand the health issues and I can wait for my items. I would hate for some kind of favoritism that has certain folks getting there items first.

Last August, or whenever it was, I really wanted to sign up for this. In retrospect I am glad I didn't.
If things do improve, and this endeavor continues I will consider signing up because I really love ARAH, and want to lend my support to see it continue.

That is just terrible news about Dave. I really hope everything works out for him. I understand the delays, but I did get a little worried since I did invest money that it took me a while to save up for. I know that $100 doesn't sound like much to most people, but when you are working just barely over minimum wage, money gets really tight.
Anyhoo, the site is back up, and I will remain hopeful that this project will continue and that we will in time get our figures.
