What are the chances that Hasbro will re-release the figures from the 25th Anniversary era? You know those molds have to still be lying around. Could Hasbro do that to fill in any gaps till the movie? Didn't the 25th Anniversary Joes and Cobras do well enough to return to retail?

Not to be a pessimist, but I'd say the chances are slim to none. Hasbro's plans for 2012 have long been known, and pushing the movie back to 2013 means they likely don't have the time or resources to devote to fast-tracking production of any additional figures. The best we can hope for is a stellar 2013 announcement at the convention and perhaps a quicker re-release of movie toys come the end of the year.

I'd love for them to re-release certain molds from the 25th line. Not holding my breath at all, but it would be nice.

Why? What do you need?
Just a thought. It would help to fill in any gaps that other collectors may have without having to pay inflated prices. Plus, I think it would be cool to have these re-releases to keep people happy till the movie in March. That's why I ask, why not?

It would be good, but unlikely. I am missing most of that line.

I think this kinda goes along with the consensus that most of us would be happy if hasbro just released ANY modern era stuff during this "dry spell". I think we would be happy with POC, ROC, resolute, 25th, whatever out there during this time.

Alpine, to name one.
That figure is one I've been after for ever now.
I'd love it if they did something similar to how they made POC BlowTorch different from 25th BlowTorch.
(Slightly different paint, with more accessories)

I think that Hasbro knows that we as fans want to complete the A.R.A.H. run through '91 at least and that they will throw in some of them within the waves whenever they can. They are slowly working there way up as we are on the '86 and up stuff now.

And they do have many parts from other figures that they can mix-match to continue with completing the ARAH line of figures that we so desire to have to complete our collection.

TRU is beginning to restock the last 30th cases.
There should be plenty cases of POC w5 & 6 in a warehouse somewhere.

I have said it before, and ill say it again. I'm agenst the re-release of any figures at all. I'm even agenst the re-release of figures I don't have yet. Let's keep moving forward people, the gaps in manufacturing are the times you should try and locate the figures you don't have yet. If there is no new product, there should be no excuse to not have the funds to buy what you are looking for "aside from catastrophy". I understand if you can not find a single figure due to its rarity, but it'll be all that much sweeter when you do.
