Which is the variant, tan or blue? I've never seen either on the pegs, but just ran across a blue Joe trooper at some store in the sticks and was wondering. Thanks.

i honestly dont think there is a variant i think it's been equal colors put out....ive only found two out in the wild and they were one of each color

Here Wal Mart and TRU have all gotten blue and TRU has only gotten Tan. I have five tan and one blue, but I have seen far more blue at retail than tan.

From buying at retail I have seen more blue than tan ones. Plus I thought the variants were the ones that are not depicted on the card........

blue was the early release, tan was the second
i imagine there are less of the blue, but both are hard to find

They both are the variants. Wal-Mart, TRU & K-Mart all have the Blue. Target has the Tan. I would think that Tan would be more limited as only one retailer has it and three have the Blue. I actually like the fact that one of the retailers required a chase figure to get people to buy from them. We could get many different troop builders this way.

you guys are lucky finding so many ive been to one target in my home state and 3 targets in a neighboring state and i only found one..same with the blue trooper 4 trus and only one

Yup, first case I cracked open at Wallz on launch day. Black CC and Tan Trooper.

the only two I have seen in the wild were blue.

however I have seen equal amounts of blue and black CC :D

I've seen seven Joe Troopers in the wild; Five tans, all at Target, and two Blue troopers. One at Walmart and one at Toys R Us.

I ordered two more off of TRU's website, and they were both blue. So at one point, I had 9 troopers, but I gave away one of the tan troopers in the Pay it Forward thread.

All mine from target are brown, the 1 I found at tru is blue, keep missing Walmart rockblocks just about the only 1 I see there.

I have only seen black CC's and tan troopers in the wild (only 5 so far), but another tanker made a trade with me so I could get the blue CC (which I prefer), and a blue Joe Trooper.

from my findings-case of 9 has one color of trooper and cc and case of 12 another and walmart,kmart-blue ones and target and toysru tan and black cc

I found one tan at Target. But bought it at the Walmart $8.96 price. They will honor your Walmart reciept at Target. Just gotta make sure you have a Joe Trooper on your reciept.
