Inspired by the animated series “My Little Pony Friendship is Magic,” this gray, Pegasus pony features rooted blonde hair and a cluster of bubbles for a cutie mark. Following both conventions, a limited number will be available on HasbroToyShop.com.
Star wars Vintage Special Edition Carbonite Chamber Collector's Pack : $69.99 - Ages 4 & up - Pretend to visit an alternate reality with this incredible package of seven 3.75-inch STAR WARS figures—one figure from each film in the Saga, and one figure only available in this collectible set. Each figure is individually carded with packaging that pays tribute to a “lost” line look that Kenner considered before going with their classic black-and-silver look! This Comic-Con special edition pack will be fans’ first chance to get the “lost” packaging, available this fall as variants in the STAR WARS VINTAGE COLLECTION line. In addition, this special collector’s pack will be the only place to get an exclusive treat for fans— a 3.75-inch carded JAR JAR BINKS in CARBONITE, which will be hidden in the center of the packaging and can be revealed by raising it through the “CARBONITE CHAMBER” top of the case. The other figures included are a standard JAR JAR BINKS (EPISODE I), CLONE TROOPER LIEUTENANT (EPISODE II), SHOCK TROOPER (EPISODE III), SANDTROOPER (EPISODE IV), PRINCESS LEIA (EPISODE V) AND DARTH VADER (EPISODE VI).
Transformers Deluxe Bruticus Combiner : $99.99 each - Ages: 5 & up - The TRANSFORMERS DELUXE BRUTICUS COMBINER SDCC Special Edition set features the fearsome DECEPTICON, BRUTICUS in a special CYBERTRONIAN deco as seen in the eagerly anticipated video game TRANSFORMERS: FALL OF CYBERTRON from Activision. BRUTICUS is formed when all five deluxe scale ‘combiner’ action figures in the set link together. The COMBATICONS characters BLAST OFF, VORTEX, DECEPTICON BRAWL, SWINDLE, and ONSLAUGHT each have three modes: robot, vehicle and a third ‘combiner’ mode to link together. This Special Edition also includes removable packaging resembling a silhouette of the DECEPTICON logo that becomes a display case for the BRUTICUS figure.
Transformers Prime Terrorcon Cliffjumper : $24.99 - Ages 5 & up -
The DARK ENERGON will be flowing through San Diego this year with the release of this special edition Deluxe scale TERRORCON CLIFFJUMPER figure. Featuring a special “TRANSFORMERS zombie” deco, this figure looks just like he did in the Darkness Rising storyline of Hasbro Studios TRANSFORMERS PRIME animated series. This figure comes with a DARK ENERGON shard and a DARK ENERGON chest attachment in a special edition clam shell packaging designed to look like his head.

This is a lesson Hasbro refuses to learn.
Or, they actually want the same outcome year after year.

So how does someone who isn't going to con (I'll probably never get to) get one? I know better than to take a chance on HTS.com. There are already "per-orders" on eBay asking for 3x the price. And if I got one, all I really want is the miniature Soundwave. So would there be a secondary market to part the rest of the set out?

I'm pretty certain this is it. When it comes to exclusives like these, they don't want everyone to be able to get it, they want it to appear to be scarce.

Starscream/Striker was $54. Shockwave Up $6 smaller vehicle but extra fig and accessories. Zarana was $16. Single fig went down more produced maybe? But how big is the box for the helicarrier going to be the sentinel box is freaking huge. Scalpers are going to earn it carting around multiple 4 1/2x3 boxes.

...not likely...if you can't make it to the convention, prepare to be raped on ebay if you want any of this stuff...I'm gonna pass on this one, my ass hurts enough from paying $50 for my single carded 3 3/4" Zarana on ebay that maybe cost $0.40 to actually produce...Zarana should have been released with the 30th waves, just like the red costume Jinx should be (Cold Slither Zarana and White costume Jinx are fine as exclusives)...for some reason Hasbro doesn't like selling their product in stores anymore..you know, those places where the average person can find it...all these exclusives put a bad taste in my mouth as a collector...or the stores like to pretend they carry them, but never actually stock them, which is the case in my area...I'm not spending hundreds of dollars to travel to the coast just to get an overpriced toy, no matter how exclusive it is...if they put it in a store or make it easier to find online than just one single web-store I'll buy the crap out of it just like I did with the 25th stuff...I spent thousands on 25th, and got a lot more figures than I would have buying exclusives...
Why do they feel they need to make exclusive stuf so friggin' overpriced?
...because they can...they know it's as good as sold since you can't get it anywhere else...capitalism at it's finest...you think it's expensive now...try finding it on ebay later...or do what I'm doing and give up on getting it if you're not made of money...
Hmm
That price on the Bruticus
Good or bad?
I can't decide
but I think the Hisstank is way overpriced
Won't matter though as it WILL sell out

Lets see: hiss tank $20, current joe retail individual price, $10, so 2 figures is 20, at 40 so far, not counting the extra accessories and mark up for special packaging. The Skystriker also did not have any new tooling.

...you mean it doesn't?...good thing I didn't order them...I would have been mighty pissed...haha
...the cost per item wouldn't be so bad if you live near the convention and can get in for free...but traveling, buying admittance, then the figure costs...it's almost cheaper to buy it third party on ebay if you live in the midwest, if you throw in that H.J...there is a bonus to buying on ebay though; it's the not having to wade through the Body Odor and cosplayers you typically find at conventions...

nah...kidneys are overrated, I hear two arms and a leg should be able to secure you the whole lot...this is why I hate these convention exclusives...if you don't live near where it's happening it's a pain in the ass to get the exclusives...unless you're made of money...saving hundreds of dollars to travel to the coast just isn't within everyone's means...so we miss out, or we get raped on ebay later on...
