Retaliation Zartan

I bought this figure a few weeks ago because it looks close enough to the Renegades version to put on my Renegades shelf. (At least imho) A few weeks later, I opened it and, wow, I am disappointed!

The articulation doesn't bother me, but the gimmick, glowing eyes? With no lights? You hav to hold it a certain way, and then you still have a goofy looking neon colored plastic piece on the middle of his head? And the stands... No stand? With the rest of my figures on stands he looks out of place! Don't get me started on the rubber weapons.

Rant over. If you have a Zartan stand, please PM me. I need one.

I don't think he's too bad, but I can see how some would think he is. The plastic spots on the top of the heads is tacky..I suppose that is my biggest issue with this figure. Overall though, I like him.

I had one in my hand the first week the toys were put out, and after looking at him I just couldnt bring myself to spending the 10$ on him even if it woulda stayed sealed on the card.

Idk boys, i got one moc and one opened, i dig him. The colored plastic on the head is tacky if you keep him hoodless but with the hood on his head(how he should be) its not bad. I think hes cool.

i agree..but do have one question on the package it says includes se and ss spare heads but who is the 3rd head??

I really like him. He's a cool toy and a lot of fun. Stop being so stuffy and cranky and enjoy him for what he is!

I bought one finally and am leaving it on card. I can see with some touch ups, this being at the very least, a decent figure.

Igot em and kit based a super decent zartan, a want to fill the whole in his hood and paint it a deeper brown and he's now my ultimate zartan.

I was not impressed with that Zartan at all. I nearly bought him once, but opted to get another Red Ninja instead.

The figure is ok, try installing a Arnold Vasloo head in its place. Am not a Zartan fan though.

I really wanted to like this new Zartan. I don't understand the orange and blue guns. If they don't want to paint them, just leave them black plastic. I understand these are aimed at kids, so these need a gimmick, I'd take a giant rocket launcher over this clear plastic crap. I am on a pretty small budget, so I have to be choosy over what I get, I only picked up SS and Red Ninja from Ret.

I still think he is one of the best looking zartans add his makeup/tattoo around the eyes and you have a creepy emerging from the shadows zartan. Articulation I though would bother me but the figures lacking it don't seem to be hurt.(vehicle drivers don't count) my zartan stands freely and with some paint to his gear he looks creepy. The light piping while the hood on looks great. I don't really mess with the other heads. Just have them tucked away. Either way I've said this in other threads, get this line in ur hands and out of the package and im sure most of you will love them and realize how great of figures the first ret line really is.
