help with a custom joe

I have no idea how to split the lower torse where the legs connect on a newer joe., also i have no idea how to cut the lower abdomen of the joe off that part and replace it with a whole new lower and upper body that would fit with the crotch and legs, any suggestions any thing would be a big help please.
