A 45 million dollar plane or 45 million in Joes?

Maybe I am a little obsessed but i was flipped through the channels when i heard that Beyonce bought JZ a 45 million dollar jet!!! I thought what a waste of money, imagine the joes you could buy? Cobra army, vehicle fleets?!?!?.... So my question to you, if you had to spend 1 million dollars in joes, what would you buy with it??

If I had 1 million for joes? that would probably cover 1 of everything released, plus at least 10+ of every troop builder.

And there'd probably still be a LOT left over for unproduced items.

No kidding. I would build a to-scale USS Flagg, and then I would build a house around it. And I would staff it with Joe Troopers and cover it with helicopters. And I would build a track around it with a train I could sit on with my kids, and it would take us around the Flagg to wherever the action was hottest.

For me, neither. I'd invest 1/3rd in gold and silver coinage, and I'd use the rest to buy one of every ARAH figure and vehicle and a house to put them in.

i would first get a house just for the collection to be placed in and i would have to have a indoor pool(why not) then get vehicles and then guys to man each one fully manned
and have a sizeable gi joe and cobra fleets and the other teams too
and yes i would have to have at least one flagg in there

I'm a huge car guy. I love cars, I mess around tunning and racing them, everything from time attacks to rally. One of my all time lottery fantasies has been building a real life Joe vehicle for myself. There are these two brothers here in Florida who specialize in fantasy concept vehicles. They even have thier own show on Sci-Fi channel called Dream Machines.

If I had a Million to spare I'd drop by Parker Brothers Concepts and ask them to build me a working Joe vehicle for me. I'd probably go with the R.H.I.N.O.

I'm gonna have to say that I've usually seen the Gulfstreams as a waste. Usually flown short distances with only a couple passengers. I'd be perfectly content with a Lear 35. I've seen those go for between .5 and 1.5 million depending on serial number and avionics suites. Maybe 2-3 million for a Lear 60. Besides, that 45 million dollar GulfStream (if that's what was bought) costs about 20-25 thousand to fuel. I've already told my wife, if we ever hit the lottery I'm buying a Lear to put on a 135 charter certificate and just fly that til I retire. I've got most of the Joes I want, I'd love to fly for a living. Right now, I'm fixing em instead of flying em.

Well, I can tell you for a fact the corporate jet's are not a waste of money. My dad's a corporate pilot(flown for Citigroup, Taylor Swift, CalFed bank(now a subsidary of Citi bank amongst many other's), and people don't realise, that as nice and luxurious as the corporate jet's are, it's all business, and they'll make the jet pay itself off.

Now with that said, I'd get myself:
Complete series of Rubiplas(venezuelan) joes
complete series of Plastirama(argentina) joes
complete series of Auriken(mexican) joes
As complete as known series of funskol(india, egypt, russia) joes

as well as argen 7 moc manleh, glenda and redmack(I'm unaware of any carded topsons, cobra mortals, or shimiks)

It's a no-win situation. By the time you bought the land and housing to contain a collection that large, you'd have spent most of the money to actually buy the collection with (depending on where you live).

But yeah, a million would easily get you one of every production item, and enough troop builders to fully man all your vehicles, with plenty left over.

But like most, if I had a million dollars free and clear, I'd probably be doing other things besides buying Joes with it.

My 17 yr old son and I were just talking about that the other when we were coming back from the Batman Tumbler tour (batmobile at walmarts promoting the upcoming movie) anyway.... we both agreed a working, street legal RAM and VAMP would be sick as hell, he even went as far as to say a HISS tank. personally seeing as the Marine Corps Super Cobra resembles the Joe Dragon Fly, I would buy one and have it detailed to look like a DF with mock missles and all, hell with a cool mil I could also take flight lessons to learn to fly it. so for me a VAMP, RAM and DF for 1 million dollars.

You could buy a 20-ship company worth of attack helicopters from former Soviet satelite and client-states looking to upgrade/be shut of the airframes.

I reckon you could even get 2-3 Ka-50s.

Anyhoo, I come into 1 million dollars free and clear I have to be honest and say Joe goes to the bottom of the heap.
