Mixing Joe and Halo

Has anyone tried customizing Halo parts for Joe use? I have a Wolverine that's missing its bracket (?) thingy that holds the missile rack on. I also have a Halo Gauss Cannon I picked up for 50% off at some point. Since the missiles are useless, I've been considering how to trim the Gauss Cannon to work with 1:18 figures and the best way to mount it to the Wolverine.

Any experience or suggestions? Here are links to the parts in case no one knows what I'm talking about.

If I could find the rocket launchers on clearence I'd certainly see if they'd fit on something like the 21st Century Toys Huey.

I actually just saw them on clearance at TRU, but I don't remember what they were going for. It might be worth checking out, though.

That's too bad. On their website, they are a few bucks off. I don't know if I'd pay $25 for them, though.

I think I had an idea. If I could come up with the seat and the arm that holds the seat from a FLAK, I could mount that into the cylinder under the control panel of the Gauss. The support post is screwed into the base, so I could potentially remove the base and somehow attach it to the base of the Wolverine missile launcher, and then . . . then if it worked I would have to come up with a name for it.

Does that seem like a reasonable plan? I suppose I should hit the B/S/T thread and see if anyone has a mutilated FLAK to trade.

I've got a Wolverine that's missing the missile-launcher bracket already. Seeing it sitting there all defenseless and stuff is what inspired the idea of mounting the Gauss Cannon on it.

What I need is the seat and seat extender (?) from the FLAK. It looks like I can get a FLAK for $15 bucks on ebay, too, but I'm hoping someone has cut one up for a custom already, and will trade something for the part of it I need.

I've actually tried using HALO weapons in my 30th customs, but they were too big.
