Completely blowing the opportunity for 30th Anniversary stuff in favor of Renegades and Movie stuff. (which I'm sure would have turned out differently if they had known the movie was being pushed out... but still.)

My recent complaint is with the Dollar General GI Joe line. The other day I was at my local Dollar General and inquired about the figures. The manager informed me that they were supposed to have them 3 months ago, but have not seen them at all. Some of the employees also want these figures. A friend of mine has also check over a dozen Dollar General stores and have not found any. From my tally of Hisstank members that do have the Dollar General exclusives, it seems as only ten Dollar General stores in the nation have received these figures. Hasbro should have called these Ebay exclusives because that is the only place where we can find them.

Again with this... If your Dollar General didn't get them, then that's a mistake Dollar General Distribution made. NOT HASBRO. I'm pretty certain that the good folks of Hasbro's Factory in China didn't box these up and place individual postage addresses on each case to the different Dollar General Stores around the country.
Ross gets "exclusives" and those that have laugh at the misery of OSOK. Dollar General Stores get exclusives and the world weeps that "It isn't fair."

As of the
iTunes yesterday, my newest complaint is "why do you release the crap and keep the gold to yourself, only to display them behind a glass case at Joecon?"
Oh, and I blame recent supreme court rulings on Hasbro as well.

Yet you feel the overwhelming need to point at people who don't agree with your POV and try to imply they are being immature.
Funny because a more mature way to handle it would have been to just let people have thier say and let it be, no one was directing anything at you and it was nothing that could have possibly offended you in any way shape or form. Yet you have to post with "whine and cry" remarks in order to attempt to shut people up because they don't agree with you, probably because you can't stand that people don't share you opinion-which is extreamly immature.
You're right, they're just toys, so why are YOU whineing about it. Leave those of us who are upset alone and go about your business.

I want to collect GI JOE; this is the only franchise I have stuck with since childhood. But the complaints are viable, especially in this day and age with instant reactionary opinions posted online. I love GI JOE, and for this reason I feel compelled to voice my opinions about how things are handled with the brand. Why would you not want to take an active role in trying to make something you enjoy collecting better? I understand that complaints without reason or proactive suggestions for improvement are frustrating and detract from our validity as a collective group, but there are just as many intelligent and creative voices on this site as there are useless tools.

This pretty much about sums it up right here. JOE and TF were my brands since childhood. Unfortunately after Bay got his hands on TF we had a falling out.

why do i not voice my opinions bout the franchise...simple i got more important things to worry bout. gi joe being what i collect most but if they put out a fig i dont like then i dont buy it. ill see if theres another line with something i like. if not then i just saved $10 or more. i guess im not as passionate bout these as alot of you guys are. but like ive said before, these are just toys. i could be wrong but i really dont think anyone from hasbro is trolling this site trying figure out what we want. i think if someone has a legitimate complaint with Hasbro then they should be contacting them and not trashing them in a blog cause theyre unhappy with where the toyline is going.
i personally just get tired of all the negative crap i see from some so called fans. if youre not happy with the line dont spend your money on it. yes theres improvements and certain things id liked to see released but honestly i just dont think anyones listening. if theyre actually listening to our suggestions, id like to know whos asking for multiple variaitions of awe strikers, stingraiders, CC, SE, SS, Duke and so on.

Hasbro needs to decide whether they are a movie house or a toy company, because they really suck at trying to do both. Its obvious big ROI is in movies because losing 2012 joe sales was nothing to them.

Oh I have several.
Why does Optimus Prime keep getting released in deluxe size(and somehow getting smaller) yet for some reason releasing Soundwave and Blaster in Voyager size seems like a good idea?
Don't get me wrong, I love that we're getting a new Blaster after all these years, but why Voyager? Why release a large scale 20$ toy of a character that has not appeared at all in any current Transformers media that would be relevant to anyone? Hell even releasing a Leader Class Metroplex would make more sense.
Plus SW is just going to look weird towering over deluxe Optimus. Toying with scale can only go so far.
Why is it the packaging on Generations is so ridiculously over sized?
Why are Deluxe figures, despite their much smaller size, priced at 15 dollars, yet much larger and complex Voyager figures are only 5 dollars more? I'm guessing is has to do with my previous question.
This is one that has confused me for a while; Is Red paint too expensive to use or something? Because the color 'Scarlet' is not orange, nor is it pink orange. I'm looking at Ironman, Thor's cape, Crimson Guard, Cliff Jumper, Crimson Dynamo, Red Ninja and even Resolute Scarlett, which all have red coloring. Yet I still can't figure out why the majority of Scarlett and Prime figures don't have a proper red coloring. Although at least the off coloring is less confusing than the Brunette used on the MU Black Widow.

Testify! The Hasbro color palette drives me ape. I've passed on so many figures entirely because of that traffic-cone orange. I assume it's cheaper to buy warehouses full of plastic in that color, murky blue-gray and that pale, corpse-like flesh tone they use so often. I've half a mind to create a Photoshop filter that will re-color older figures to make them look like modern Hasbro products.

My biggest problem with hasbro is that they dont handle things like playmates. Yes, hasbro builds a superior toy, but when you wanted terminator salvation or star trek they were in the isle where they were supposed to be.
Hell, i'm seeing ninja turtles EVERYWHERE and the cartoons not even out yet. If hasbro was running the show, we wouldnt see shit for a year...makes no sense.

My complaint is a lack of products.
No back up plan for GI Joe so no GI Joe products on the shelves. Marvel Universe is a no show on store shelves. Even Transformers Prime figures can be a tough find in some areas if you want something other than Prime and Bumblebee.

No product in stores. No animated show to support the line. No marketing of the line. No 30th anniversary follow up of the line. Blah, blah, blah! This can go on forever....
