roc pit headquarters

Hi just purchased a cheap complete pit headquarters of ebay for my nephew i have no room for one. I must say this is an amazing playset very good features and holds lots of figs. But i must say who ever came up with that many decals its ridiculous, i left a lot of mine especially all the small red triangles. Has any one done any upgrades or changes to this things would love to see.

Good retirment project, save it till later :)...dunno how you guys stomached buying the thing..even at 10.99 I balked at em clearenced at TRU..I have no room for the winnebago of GI JOE...I'd prefered a MCC or another Defiant before wasting that space lol...

If Hasbra can produce a big ass playset, wished they just produced an updated version of the 1983 Joe Headquarters.

That game is way under rated! I personally loved it.

I bought mine for $5, it's in a plastic tote. I'd like to get like 3, maybe 4 more take the walls off, cut off the "legs" and hook all the sets of walls together to make a compound. I saw someone on here do something like that.

The front of the pit looks like a boat to me, Is it possable this could have been a part 1 of what would have been a new Flagg?

I bougth one thats missing the jail bars, its a really cool I had to buy it just cause it was massive! I did the stickers about 45 min at a time what a pain in the ass! Hasbro should never do that again!
I used some of the stickers on an F 22 from true heroes.

I think the 2 joe HQ is more fun though. it just seems more funcitional as a base the pitt is just what a mobile center should be.
when its open it seems like there are too many ways to attack it! there is no way gi joe could defend that base. and I am the only one who was like where the F are all the GUNS@!!!!!

I got mine for £15, reduced from £130. I like it for what it is. It's definitely more fun to play with than look at lol. I spent 6 hours putting stickers on and still have some lef.

It makes me sad inside that they chose this design over the two Cobra transports that used the same base. Maybe they'll surface as Retaliation's big vehicle. Hmmm... I might start a thread about that.

I decided to disregard every sticker smaller than a quarter on mine unless it was for a computer screen or something similar.

Im convinced no one could tell the difference.

Also, i thought the game was great, honestly. I dunno what people think gi joe is, but the game pretty much nailed most of it, imo.
