Hi Everyone

Long time reader, I registered only recently, first words here ...

Even if I can be a little shy because of so many talented people here, I would like to show my humble works

Here is my all time favorite T.V. Series character, from Magnum P.I.

I wanted Him to be able to fit in the car (1:18)
But there is no way to move the seats
So I cut the legs on the lower part and made a little peg system for it to still be able to stand, once out of the car.

And Voilà !
(Yes.. I'm French ... )

Have you tried a 1/16 scale car? Or cutting out and extending the floor of the car? That's what I had to do for one of my custom 1/18 scale cars and now my figure fits in it without an issues. Also had to lower the seat.

The figure looks perfect though I was never a fan of the show. That would also make a really cool Chuckles if it were painted different colors.

Overall, great first post. Looking forward to seeing more.

Lance, no I can't do that, on several cars I've been able to but not on this one.
And I am not sure that this Ferrari even exists in 1:16 (Nor I can afford the price if ever... ^^ )

I dunno if there's a way but this would kill if you could rig the Magnum PI theme song to play in the background when we anyone opens this thread. I can hear it now...

Well .. I tried to be as accurate as possible so yes some hairs may be visble out of the shirt ^^
And Yes I made the License Plate AND the Hawaii "safety inspection" sticker just for fun.

awesome run right out of the gate man, great custom, I agree with Ford, you need T.C. with the helo (try looking for a BBI little bird) also you need Higgins with the dogs, and of course Rick in the lounge lizard white suit.

That is awesome. I say the Renegades Duke head looks more like Tom Sellick than Footloose or Claymore. Very good eye. The sculpt work on the 'stache is very good. This belongs in the Louvre.

I think its a great custom! Congrats! as well on getting one of those cars they go for over $100 bucks on Ebay (I wouldnt cut it either) also 1/16 cars always look to big! a Ferrari in 1/16 is the same size as a Joe tank! anyways Nice Work keep it up!
