keel haul 30th update

hey everyone this figure's been bugging me for a while now, i have a flagg permently up on display with all sorts of goodness on it and occasionally a cat but no admiral!! so i decided to make one solely from parts in my bits box.

im happy with him but i think the one thing he is missing is a bit of bulk he seems very scrawny. i did consider going down the indy jacket route but i dont have one of those so to plan b, hardest part/most frustrating was making the collar i would only use the hawk jacket if i could make a passable collar but looking at it now it could be higher.

25th general hawk - torso, arms, right leg and lower left
25th chuckles - upper left leg
roc rampage - head
hat, belt and pistol all from bits box
green stuff - collar

I'm using this recipe for a Rumbler, but when I put it together, it looks more like Keel Haul, just almost the same colors as yours. If I find a cap like yours, I might just convert him to Keel Haul...haha.

This is a slick update. The zipped jacket helps him look less like larry from threes company (the whole open shirt gold chain deal haha)

I had put the same thing together but was never quite happy with it (I think I had a different upper left leg). But yours looks great. I don't know if that is a red star hat or not, it looks great, the hat and the clip board really sells this sucker.

thanks guys really appreciate the comments. the hat if anyone is wondering is not a red star hat, it is from a joe an o-ring one but im unsure which one i picked a few up in a lot of joe stuff on ebay.

If I had a hat like that, I'd be converting my Rumbler to Keel Haul. I have basically the same recipe and look for my Rumbler...haha.

thanks a lot guys. my bits box is the same as a fodder bin full of parts figs and leftover stuff, wire. anything of use. a hoarder bin maybe.
