TRU F22/Skywarp

Here's my FIRST real mod project. I have a Millennium Falcon repaint in the closet half done too, that still needs some work. This is a TRU F22, sanded with 600 grit, and layered in Krylon Plastic gloss black, highlights in Krylon aluminum and Rustoleum 2X gloss grape, and finished with Cobra Stickers Skywarp decals... MANY thanks go out to Ed (Air-Tight), Jay (jpdraven), Brian K, and Kevin W for all the great advice on how NOT to screw this up. I got great inspiration from the many mods you all have out there, but tried to go my own way here to keep everyone's original work their own :) This was about a two week project, doing a bit at a time. Next project will be an XP21F Jetfire mod. Air Tight i am prolly going to TOTALLY steal your blue canopy idea. maybe ;)

Once again, I was not really impressed with the toy. Never owned it, but I have seen it in the stores numerous times.

Give it a different innovative paint scheme, and BAM! Whole new toy.

Skywarp is my favorite seeker, and I feel you REALLY did him some justice. This is a fantastic custom, and it really makes me want to pick this toy up. GREAT WORK!
