hey for any1 who who attached a holster to the peg slot of dollar shipwreck's thigh--how did you do it?
superglue?
and does the holster unscrew from renegades duke for example?
or does it have to be pulled off?

Super glue works fine.

Hardest part for me is tracking down a spare black POC holster to add!

i put the one from the belt on the dg duke on mine- technically it's backwards, but it looks okay to me.
fellow iron grenadier wertdog clipped one from the retaliation joe trooper backpack and put it on shippy, it looked good.

I'm thinking about putting a pouch on there instead of the traditional holster.

Order a holster from a custom site like the raging spoon or Brokenarrow and superglue it.

Thinking of popping them off my DG Officers myself.

I plan on using a Ren. Ripcord's, just haven't attempted it yet. I assume you'll have to cut off the threads and just glue it to the leg. They are pretty cheap at BBTS ($4 right now).

i was gonna use renegades duke's holster but might actually grab one of those bbts ripcords
and those other holster ideas (dg duke's belt holster etc) are all terrific

I'm pretty sure Renegades Duke uses the same legs.

I'll be having this holster cast and thus will be a direct fit for any of the figures who use those same upper legs: http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-joe-customs-works-progress/233753-does-everybody-need-silenced-pistol.html
Alternatively if you can get a factory silenced pistol holster off another figure in one piece you could glue it back on to Shippy. I'm not a big fan of every figure having the same holster as well as the easily lost pistol and silencer.

I'll have the one that goes on that leg from the snake eyes up after the con. I just made molds for them.

I was trying my damnedest to melt the glue and pull the holsters and pouches off a 30th Law the other day. Guess I'll try cutting them off now.

Heat the holster before removing. It helps.

I just used the gun that came with Ren. Duke. It fits right in the slot and don't look to bad. Really easy if you don't want to mess with glueing anything on.
