So I got my first Red Ninja today. I had a little play with the zipline and I friggin' love it! I'm amazed you get so much string. Usually toys like this get about 2 feet worth the Red Ninja had 7 feet of string! You can actually zip over proper scaled chasms and shit.
Post if you appreciate them!
Haters piss off. ;-)

I appreciate the concept, but the Retaliation line execution leaves me cold.
Still, I might run one from the shelf to a 1:18 helo hanging from the ceiling for shits and grins.

I may not agree with darkhorse on all things , but I do have to say I like the ziplines:) My wife on the other hand ,not so much. Last night I hooked one end of the zipline to the light fixture in the bathroom and the other end to the shower curtain rod and when she was about to get out of the shower...bam! Red Ninja attack. It was awesome:D

My Red Ninjas appreciated them for 5 minutes and then in the trash the ziplines went.

I've had some good times using the Battle Corp Lifeline grappling launcher; I'll get my use out of the Retaliation ziplines.

not to mention more practical and usefull too. And, less dangerous for the kids to play with, not as easy to shoot someone's eye out with these unlike a spring loaded projectile launcher that shoots pretty far and with good velocity!

I got some with my red ninjas and SS. I do like them. The wrist holder thingy is a bit over sized, but still good fun. They will stay unlike Rockblocks overgrown launcher.

It's cool, but I don't need more than one. It seems there's one free with every Red Ninja including the 3 pack.

way better than spring loaded launchers. But the part that grabs onto the arm is painfully oversized.

I use them with my clone troopers in my star wars set up. They work really well for that.

I bet kids like the zipline. I loved Alpine's gear as a kid, and the Twins' zipline would have actually been cool with 7' of string. Ziplines are also cool in real life.

Just be careful with ceiling fans. It sounds like fun be trust me... It can go bad real quick.

So far they are filling up a plastic bubble package eerily reminding me of all those crappy ROC launcher weapons I have in a shoebox on top my closet!

I hated the BFGs from the first movie but I like the ziplines, I might recreate the zipline scene from the black ops mission Executive Order.

The ziplines are popular with my nephews and me. They're practical, fun, and a helluva lot more realistic for a military-themed toy than the dildo guns. Lauching missiles make sense on vehicles and the occassional infantry anti-armor weapon like a LAW, SMAW, Dragon's Breath or AT40, all of which could be adapted for Joe scale without looking like a sex toy assault launcher.
Ziplines are nice I hate that it came at the expense of other accessories though.

Loved them as a kid but dont have much use for them anymore. Anything is better than those giant rocket launchers though.

My 5 year old daughter LOVES the Red Ninja zip line... and so do I!
The ninja says, "WEEEEEEE!!!" every time he uses it.
I seriously would have gone ape shit over an accessory like this when I was a kid and I agree that it's an improvement over the spring launchers. The only really dumb part about them is the "hook" thingy (pinchers?) that basically only gets in the way.
Anyways, for a gimmicky type of accessory it's got some great playability and could be a pretty interesting addition to a dio scene if used creatively.
+1 for the zip lines, here.
