I LOVE the concept of the Adventure Team. Its always been a dream of mine to travel the world and explore the unknown.
I think given the opportunity, I would join in a heartbeat.
Unfortunately, The Adventure Team is only a toy line.
BUT there IS an actual Explorers Club based out of NY.
They travel the globe and research in the name of science!

Given the chance, would anyone else here join up?

It would be very cool. There would be some great adventures. It would be like recon, espionage, rescue & exploring all rolled into one. Great question.

I have kids and a GF. Traveling the world and going on adventures sounds cool, but I don't think I could leave them behind.

I'd be all for it. It sounds like a rockin' good time and being able to do some good too. I know author clive cussler has a real life version of numa (for those familiar with cusslers adventure books). One day i think it would be fun to do that for a while.

I want to capture a Yeti, kick the living shit out of him, then release him back to the wild so he can tell his friends about the ass kicking he received.

It would be awesome, that's kinda why a lot of people join the military. The adventure.

Thats why I joined the Navy. Though I got to travel to a lot of cool places, my thirst is still strong.

Sure...grow a beard, hang out solely with a bunch of guys with matching said-beards, no women anywhere, hunt for the Pygmie Gorilla, go to Spy Island, beat up some cave men...sounds like a good time.
However, if I had the chance, I'd rather be an adventurer/explorer in the 1930's, like Indiana Jones. Killing Nazis, finding cool stuff for museums, and getting the girls seems a bit cooler.

Take them with you, you will have even greater adventures. Have you not heard of Jonny Quest?

Johnny needed Race to protect him though.
I think Race would have had a better time if he hadnt had to spend all his time protecting 2 kids and a dog.

If I was independently wealthy I would in a heartbeat. I was actually talking to my wife yesterday about buying a new Jeep Wrangler in Adventure Team Yellow and putting the insignia on the doors and hood. If I do, I'll have to grow a beard and start wearing camo where ever I go. :-)
